The JUMP tournament
kotina: Oh, you will love this, it is a multi cross-over story with Dragonball/Z/GT, Naruto/Shippuden, and One Piece.
It is a lot like Tekken, it's a tournament of mangas. I hope you enjoy, but be ready and please tell me in a review who should win.
OK, on to Chapter One.
Chapter 1
It is a beautyful day in Jump City. The birds are cheeping, there are no clouds in the sky, and it is qui-a loud booming voice comes- OK, maybe not so quiet. Today is the day of the Jump Tournament, when men and women come from around the world just to compete and be named the strongest of the strong.
A blond announcer walks out onto the stadium. "Welcome, boys and girls and people of all ages, to the famous JUMP TOURNAMENT! This tournament is the biggest in, not just the continent, but the entire world! Today you'll be seeing a lot of fighting from a lot of tough competitors. Now, the rules are simple. If you are knocked unconscious, knocked out of the ring, or say 'I give up', you will lose. Please try to keep deaths as low as possible. OK, now that that's done, the sign-up sheets are open," he says with a large booming voice into the mic, as competitors of all shapes and sizes come up to register for this tournament.
A young teenager with black spiked hair is seen walking up to the sign-in booth. "Hello, I would like to sign up for the tournament, please." he says, looking at the announcer.
The announcer looks at him. "OK, I need a name and the 20 yen entry fee," he said with a nice smile on his face.
The boy nodded and handed him 20 yen. "I am Son Goku," he said, taking the sticker offered to him.
The announcer continues to smile creepily. "OK, just go to the tent right over there," he says pointing at a large tent.
20 minutes pass without anyone else coming up until he saw another boy with spiked hair, though not as long as the Goku fella that had signed up. "Name and 20 yen, please and thank you," he says, looking at the young teenager.
The young boy smiles, handing him the money. "The name's Yamcha, and I am the future strongest man in the world," he said, full of confidence.
"Ah, I like this one, so much confidence it's astounding,"the blond man thought. "OK, everything seems to check out, head over to the tent there," he said with a simple but still creepy smile.
After about an hour another contestant walks up to him. He is taken aback by this man's odd green skin. "May I help you?" he asks, still a bit taken aback.
The green man nods his head. "I would like to sign up for the tournament," he says with a lot of seriousness in his voice.
The man smiles. "OK, name and 20 yen please," he says, a little creeped out by this man'ss serious tone.
There was no facial reaction as the green man handed over 20 yen. "Piccolo," he says, and simply went to the tent where he saw a bunch of others.
In a matter of hours, a bunch of other contestants had signed up by the names of: Tien Shinhan, Krillin, Chichi, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, Kakashi, an odd boy by the name of Monkey D. luffy, Roronoa Zoro, and Sanji.
The man stood up. "OK, that's it, sign ups are closed. The preliminaries will be held in 2 days, and the tournament in 4," the man says while closing the sign up station.
He smiles. "Well, it looks like this year's tournament well be the most exiting yet!" he says while heading home
End of chapter 1
