Sburb, just a silly little game?

It was just a silly little game at first. Something they could all play together at once. Just a fun game to play together. But their session wasn't good, because it isn't just a silly game. This wasn't child's play. They started off so young and full of happiness and life, but they lost everything, even their world. So much gone and so little gained, and they grew so much inside.

You said that this would be fun

That it was just a silly little game

It started off so easily

So free and full of fun

But meteors rained down upon our world

And our guardians got lost

We had no direction

No one we could turn to

We only had each other

We soon discovered this little game

Was going to tear us apart bit by bit

And when we discovered the truth

None of us wanted this

We couldn't take it back

This silly sounding game

Why did it happen to us

Why did we have to be so foolish to think it wasn't all real

We made a few friends

From a different time

And they couldn't help us but to guide us to the end

We talked and talked about this game

Only to find destruction beyond its download

We soon met each other and found

The most evil demise we could think of

We found our guardians bloodied and dead

All by the hands of one man

We couldn't stop him

And soon we fell to his sword as well

We rose once more and found we were still in this silly game

We couldn't do anything and we learned of our end

We couldn't stop the Scratch and we we fine with it that way

This was such a horrible thing

We failed the game

No new universe in our name

But what did we gain

We died and we lost our family

But we found each other

We finally met after just bright letters on a screen

We met all our new friends

So was this game really such a bad thing

But what about everything else

We started out just kids

So what are we now

But broken and lost

We have nothing anymore

Because of this silly little game.
