A/N: This is a songfic inspired by Taylor Swift's "White horse"

Disclaimer: I don't own the carachters nor Taylor Swift's song.

Say you're sorry

That face of an angel

Comes out just when you need it to

As I pace back and forth all this time

'Cause I honestly believed in you

Holding on

And days drag on

Stupid girl,

I should have known, I should have known

He promised Athena that he's going to leave Amphitrite, she believed in him, she shouldn't have. She should have known been the goddess of Wisdom. She was stupid.

"I'm sorry" says the love of her life. The days dragging, passing slowly, the biggest pain she'd ever feel. But she can't blame him, not with that angel face.

[Chorus]

I am a goddess, this ain't a fairytale

I'm not the one you'll sweep off her feet,

Lead her up the stairwell

This ain't Hollywood; this is a small mount,

I was a dreamer before you went and let me down

Now it's too late for you

And your white horse, to come around (Poseidon "created" the horses)

What was she thinking? This wasn't a Hollywood movie. This was Olympus and she was a goddess. She is that "other". The one who was willing to break a marriage. She wasn't who he really belong to. That was Amphitrite, she was the one he'll sweep off her feet, lead her up the stairwell. Everything that he promise her was an illusion, a dream, and she was the dreamer.

Baby I was naive,

Got lost in your eyes

And never really had a chance

I had so many dreams

About you and me

Happy endings

Now I know

Every time she didn't sleep at nights, thinking about him, his beautiful sea-green eyes. Dreaming of him and that ideal moment, when he would kiss her in front of all the Olympians, declaring their love to the world. That happily ever after that she would never get. Now she knows that. She knows that he lied, she knows that she's no "competition" for his "queen". That lucky girl. And she doesn't even know how lucky she really is.

[Chorus]

I am a goddess, this ain't a fairytale

I'm not the one you'll sweep off her feet,

Lead her up the stairwell

This ain't Hollywood; this is a small mount,

I was a dreamer before you went and let me down

Now it's too late for you

And your white horse, to come around

This was too painful, Aphrodite tries to comfort her, talking about, how he'll come around again, how she knows they're "meant to be". "This it's just a "step-back" in your relationship" she says. Athena doesn't believe her, she wants to, but she can't. But this it's the goddess of love. Of course she's right.

And there you are on your knees

Begging for forgiveness, begging for me

Just like I always wanted but I'm so sorry

"I'm so so sorry Poseidon, I love you more than anything in the world. But I can't" The tears are now falling down her face. "Please don't do this to us". And then she realizes.

'Cause I'm not your goddess, this ain't our fairytale

I'm gonna make a vow until someday

someone actually treats me well

This is a big world that was a small mount

There in my rear view mirror disappears now

And it's too late for you and your white horse

Now it's too late for you and your white horse, to catch me now

"You did this to us, Poseidon"

"I love you, Athena, I'll leave her, I promise"

"And I love you, but, but I deserve better"

Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa

Try and catch me now

Oh, it's too late

To catch me now

"It's too late, Poseidon".
