Ajay's eyes fluttered open, he wearily rubbed them for a moment before focusing on the ceiling. Another day in Kyrat, he thought. Suddenly, he heard familiar shouts being thrown between two people in a nearby building. Amita and Sabal. Ajay wondered when their bickering would ever stop.

"God damn it, those two are fucking arguing again?". He got off his bed and slipped on his green jacket, leather gloves, and attached various pouches to his waist. He realized how many pouches he carried with him, even to the point that Pagan wanted to make meat pockets for his jacket. Ajay opened the door, creaking as it shut behind him.

"I fucking swear, I'm going to kill one of them". Ajay walked over to a Golden Path building, arguments and protests audible from the flimsy wooden cimson door.

"We NEED to destroy those drug fields! why would you even want Kyrat to become a drug state?!"

"Wait, they're fighting over drugs?"

"Look, those drugs will come in handy. it will help boost Kyrat's sorry economy!"

"But those drugs aren't the answer!-", Sabal stopped mid-sentence as a frustrated Ajay entered. Sabal slyly grinned back at Amita, partly from knowing the stalemate will be over soon, and partly from knowing that Ajay sided with Sabal on all his choices.

"Okay, I just want to get this over with". Ajay eyed Amita and Sabal, who looked back at him nervously and anxiously. "What's the current issue?".

Sabal began, "There's a opium field nearby, it's owned by the Royal Army, but Amita...Amita wants to secure the fields for Kyrat". Amita glared knives at Sabal. She wanted to intervene, but Ajay looked pissed enough as it is.

"But, Sabal", Amita finally interjected, "Wants this field to be burned down. I know this isn't how things are supposed to be, peddling drugs and all, but it is the only way to help Kyrat financially!". Amita's eyes pleaded Ajay to side with her, but it didn't work.

"We're not fucking drug cartels", Ajay thought.

He ran a hand through his hair, contemplating both proposals, finally choosing Sabal's. Sabal seemed to be sensible in his arguments, he also was more disappointed than angry when Ajay failed his objective, while Amita just bitches at him when he does something wrong.

"Kyrat shouldn't turn into a drug state, Amita. I never knew you'd stoop this low". Ajay glared at Amita, who was now at a lost for words, and stormed out of the conference room.

Sabal looked back at Ajay, who was focused on the door that Amita stormed out of, wanting to hug him, but put aside that thought.

"After all of this is over, I'll tell him..."

"Thank you, brother. Now...here", Sabal pointed to an area on the map, Rochan Brick Factory, "..is where the drugs are being grown. Now, the area is guarded by the Royal Army, but not much. The scouts we sent there earlier report only about seven or eight soldiers, but reinforcements are going to arrive. Pagan has caught wind of our recent activities and plans to up security. Be safe, Ajay. I...don't want anything to happen to you". Sabal put a hand on Ajay's shoulder for a moment, and left the conference room.

"Be safe, Ajay. I don't want anything to happen to you?". It was that moment Ajay wondered about Sabal's feelings toward him. Sure, Sabal liked Ajay's presence, and thought he'd be a vital member for the Golden Path, but he thought it ended there. Now he worried for his safety.

"There will be time to ask him, later", Ajay thought, And went over to a weapons rack to pull out a flamethrower.

"Well, time to make it burn them"
