AU. Yes, I am aware of what happened to Allison. No, we do not talk about it on this account.

They were still panting and covered with a fine layer of sweat, legs tangled in the sheets. Lydia's head pressed firmly to Allison's chest, listening to her rapid heartbeat.

"I don't know.." Allison whispered airily.

"What do you mean?" She asked, eyebrows knitting together tightly.

"Every time I've ever pictured this.. Us, for the first time.. I wanted this exact moment to be perfect." She explained softly, running her fingers through Lydia's cherry blonde hair. "We'd lay like this and I'd hold you just a little tighter and say something romantic.. I just can't think of anything to make this moment better."

Lydia smiled at her lover's words and tilted her head to kiss the skin above her heart.

"Just before you peaked, you had a look in your eye.. You opened your mouth but nothing came out. Say what you were going to say then.."

"You're everything to me.." She sighed contently. "You're the first breath I take waking up in the morning.. You're every time I've ever watched The Notebook. You're the sound of the string being released on my bow when I'm training.. And the pavement under a streetlight in the rain. You're the sunlight peeking through the blinds on a Saturday morning.. And the air. You're every time my heart beats, Lydia.. You're absolutely everything. I love you."

Lydia bit back the sobs attempting to overtake her and smiled up at the brown eyed girl.

Concern flowed through her as Allison wiped a tear away from her girlfriend's cheek, but Lydia's beaming smile was all the proof she needed that the smaller girl was okay.

"That was perfect.." She laughed. "I love you too, Allison."

A dopey grin sprawled across the hunter's face as she heard the other girl's laugh.

"Goodnight.." She mumbled and kissed Lydia's forehead.

"Goodnight, Alli.." She whispered before tucking her head under Allison's chin and relaxing into her touch.

"Lydia?"

"Hmm?" She hummed tiredly.

"You're my fate.."

Lydia listened to the taller girl's heart rate slow down and eventually drifted to sleep herself.

A/N. I like to live in a world where, what I refer to as "The horrible, terrible, bad thing" never happened and Allison is off living her life somewhere sunny with Lydia. Make sure to review, good or bad, and PM me prompts, pairings, and suggestions. I live for feedback!
