It had been sixty years since the Battle of the five armies, and the Lonely Mountain was won back by Thorin's Company. The line of Durin should have died, but they had been spared, and given a second chance at life. Thorin was now the king under the mountain, and ruled with an iron fist, but he was gentle when he needed to be. As the afternoon sun rose higher into the sky; Kili, and Fili were taking a well deserved break when a sudden flash of bright light shone upon Raven Hill. Curiously the two princes decided to investigate the scene.
_Raven Hill_
A top the once icy mountain lay two unconscious princesses. One with wild, untamed curly red hair that reached to her lower back, and the other her cousin with black hair that reached her elbows. Now you are probably wondering how these two princesses came to be in Middle Earth, and who they are. For that we must travel to the beginning where it all started. . .
_Somewhere in the Scottish Highlands_
The Journey begins in the countryside of Scotland in a palace where we met two princesses; Merida of Dunbroch, and her cousin; Lenna. After having been involved in turning her three younger brothers, as well as mother into bears, Merida's father insisted she needed some female company so he had Merida's cousin Princess Lenna of Lochness. Lenna like her cousin; Merida had always believed in magic, and found it to be quite interesting.
_In The Dunbroch Forest_
I sighed as I continued to follow my crazy cousin; Merida after what happened to my aunt, and three younger cousins, I still found it hard to believe magic was good anymore.
"Merida?" I asked my older cousin
"Hmm, what is it Lenna?" She requested from me as we walked further into the now darkened woods
"Where is it that we are going?" I was about to ask when my steel gray eyes saw a few bluish wisps balls floating around us "Wow, I had no idea they still existed" Merida looked over her right shoulder at me, and smiled
"Of course they do Len" I smiled back as we now followed the small blue wisps as we continued to follow the gentle wisps little did we know there was a huge rabbit like hole coming. I was too existed looking around at the magic of the forest when I suddenly felt the ground of the forest give way right beneath my very feet I screamed, closing my steel gray eyes as tight as humanly possible
"Merida!" I found myself yelling as I continued to fall
"I'm here Lenna" She replied
"Oh, thank God" We seemed to fall forever, that was until I saw what seemed to be some type of huge gap at the bottom of the rabbit hole "Merida?"
"Hmm?"
"See any white rabbits around?" Merida seemed to laugh at what I asked
"Strange, but no I do not"
"Hmm, wonder if he found Alice maybe she's just as lost as we are" This time both of us began laughing
"You really need to be careful what you are reading for now on"
"I can't help it, they say reading takes you places Merdia"
"Well, this time it sure did" As we continued talking about what books I enjoyed reading we seemed to fall even faster if that was at all possible. "Watch out!" I heard Merida yell, but before I could even do anything we both hit the side of the rabbit hole hard, and fell upon something cold, and wet. . .
And that is how Merida, and her cousin end up in Middle Earth to be continued. . .
