She's the one who pretended that she didn't care when he left Konohagure.
She's the one who told everyone that she's over him since he left.
She's the one who lied about her feelings.
Why?
It's simple, she didn't want everyone to worry about her.
Naruto tried to retrieve him many many times but she never went to get him back.
It's been 5 years, it's long enough to forget someone like him, some like Uchiha Sasuke that betrayed their trust.

Yamanaka Ino, the newest head of Torture and Interrogation.
She opened the window of her office.
She looked at the blue sky.
"PIG!" Someone called from behind but she knew darn well that it's her best friend, Sakura.
For the record she's the only one who calls her a disgusting nickname.
Ino turned her head and looked at Sakura.
"Ever heard the statement 'KNOCK before you enter at someone's room or office or whatsoever'?" Asked Ino in irritated tone.
"Jeez, pig, calm down. What's with you?" The pink haired inquired, she could tell that she has a problem.
"Nothing, I just saw your enormous forehead that's why." Said Ino as she sighed.
Sakura became serious and looked at her eyes.
Ino breathed out and stared at the floor.
Sakura can tell that Ino doesn't wanna say what's the matter and she can't blame her for that, well she betrayed Ino's trust once over some boy.
She's just thankful that Ino gave her a chance to be her best friend once again.
Let's face it, even if you forgave and befriended again with her, you can't give your whole trust like you used to be.
It's easy to forgive but it's hard to forget.
There's a lot of words that unspoken and Sakura knows that.
Sakura regained her composure.
"So pig, I went here to tell you that the new Hokage COMMANDED me to get you." Said Sakura.
"For what?" Ino arched an eyebrow.
"To retrieve him." Informed Sakura as she looked softly at her blue eyes.
"I refuse as in hell no!" Said Ino as she crossed her arm.
"Hokage's order." Insisted Sakura.
"I'd rather die. Why does Naruto never realized that Sasuke will never ever go back. Why you two hope that much?" Questioned Ino.
"You love him, don't you?" Canvassed Sakura with sad tone.
"You want an honest answer Sakura?" Inquired Ino as the tears are forming in her eyes.
"Yes, I did love him, I hoped.. a lot that he'll go back to Konoha, I missed him more than anything but you know what, Sakura? One morning I just realized, I shouldn't waste my tears, my effort and my affection. He didn't deserve anything but hate. He betrayed us." Persisted Ino as the tears roll doesn't in her face continuously.
Sakura in the other hand can't help but cry.
She knows that Ino is hurt enough.
First, when she betrayed Ino when they're kids.
Second, when Sasuke betrayed Konoha.
Third when Chouji, one of her best friend almost die when they tried to retrieve him for the first time.
Fourth, and the most hurtful, when her sensei died in front of her and she can do nothing.
"Sakura, get out, please! Please leave me alone! I beg you!" Appealed Ino, still, the tears are streaming in her eyes.
"I-.." Sakura tried to speak but she was cut by Ino.
"Tell Naruto, that I refuse and I won't go whether it's an order or not because every single time they are trying to retrieve him and the results are failed, it crushes my heart more and more.. And you know what hurts me most? It's the hope, I hoped every single time that he'll come back or Naruto will get him back... I am tired of hoping, Sakura. I am tired." Stated Ino, still crying.
"Sorry." Affirmed Sakura as she walked off from her office.
