Ciel could not believe those morons were hugging the life out of him, crying, yet overjoyed that he was alright. He felt bad tricking them, but he needed to win Lizzie's Easter egg hunt. It would never do to have that big idiot Soma show him up and present her with her special egg. So he endured their hugs and histrionics as best he could as it was better than the knowing smirk Sebastian gave him.
Ciel knew he was in for a bit of teasing from his demon butler, but he did not care. His main concern was peeling the two blubbering idiots off him. Agni had a choke-hold around his neck, while Soma had dive-bombed in to grab him around his middle. He felt like he was being torn in two and if they did not let go of him soon, Ciel thought he really would have an asthma attack. Just as quickly as they had pounced, the pair of imbeciles let go of him. Cheering him on, Ciel felt a small pang of guilt over cheating, before he quickly squashed it.
Ciel had to win Lizzie's egg hunt. Since it was her idea, he knew as delighted as she would be if Soma gave her the egg, Ciel had the feeling she would be very upset if he lost. So he did what he could to win and now he was paying for it with a crick in his neck and some sore ribs… not mention a guilty conscience that was vehemently rearing its ugly head, which surprised him as he had done far worse in his short life as the present Earl of Phantomhive. Giving Lizzie the egg, Ciel wondered if it was worth it, as she seemed so sad beneath her delight over his win…
