A/N: This originally went at the beginning of the second chapter of William. It became too crowded but I liked the exchange. So I cut the names and created this little one shot. Can be Meva or Nathen, you know which one I had in mind but take it as you want. Hope you enjoy the random fluff!
Disclaimer: Don't own anything…not even the rain..

Outside a storm was coming.
The two people stepping out of their car slammed the doors quickly, running up the driveway as a distant rumble of thunder sparked the first few drops of rain.
"I thought you had the keys?" asked the woman, gripping onto her husbands arm for warmth as he fumbled blindly through his pockets for the offending pieces of metal.
"Well I'd be able to get them if you'd stop hugging me" he retorted playfully, spinning away from his wife so that she was forced to wrap both arms around his back, nuzzling into his coat from behind.
"Hey!" laughed the man, his fingers finally grasping the metal key ring. With his focus now on the woman behind he snuck an arm around her middle, squeezing her to his chest and rubbing his nose gently against her own.
"It's starting to rain silly" she whispered, giggling against his cheek. He rolled his eyes playfully at her before gazing out into the rain, tightening his grip around his wife's waist as a soft smile spread across his face.
Mistaking his sudden grip for that of a hug she buried her face into her husband's chest, breathing in the scent of his favourite jacket with a content sigh.
Moments later the strong arms enfolding her jerked backwards and she was met with a shower of rain drops from above, barely realising she had been dragged into the downpour before her husband's laughter filled her ears, reminding her once more of why so many others feared him.
"You mentioned the rain dear?" he teased, covering her back with his jacket so that only her hair and face received the fresh sprinkling of water from above. He looked down at her deathly gaze, finding no real anger in the deep blue pools, only a mixture of surprise and the promise of payback.
Laughing freely for the first time in days he released her from his arms, giving her the freedom to run but still holding one small hand gently, feeling the need for connection even after three months of marriage.
"You're not going inside" he whispered moments later, kissing her nose as a trickle of rain ran down her cheek.
"No" she whispered back, wrapping her arms back around him as he wiped the rain from her face.
"I'm that special am I" he teased as they wandered arm in arm towards the safety of the front door. He nudged his wife's side gently, as she laughed, turning her gorgeous smile on him so that he grinned freely in return.
"That might be it" she agreed somewhat, loosening her grip on his arm to take a step forward. She turned to face her husband, relishing each moment he spent smiling instead of grieving.
She grinned mischievously at him.
"Or maybe I just like the rain"
