This is a poem from Neji's point of view before the chuunin exams
Long ago it seemed to be
But not too long in honesty
I once had a hope to roam and be free
But it was all taken away from me
On the day of my birth four years past
I was sealed with the curse of the Hyuuga's past
To obey and be slave to only the head
Never to choose and only to serve
That is my fate that cannot be fought
Long ago my dream was to be free
But a caged bird forever shall I be
