Seth's Secret

Disclaimer: Don't own "The OC" or "The Real World", but that Randy-kid cracks me up.

Author's Note: I originally imagined this to be very spread out and to have less emotion and drama, but I wanted to make it realistic to the show. I hope I did a good job, I've never written anything that was even a little slash. Please review, you know how I love feedback! By the way, I've decided to add "complete" at the end of stories to prevent people from asking me to continue one-shots, although it's very sweet of y'all.

Summary: Seth has a secret he hasn't told anyone, and decides to tell Summer.

Seth usually never cared for Saturdays. They didn't give him much to do. But recently, he had begun to enjoy them. Usually, Summer would come over and they'd watch television together and eat snacks and do little flirty things. Sometimes they wouldn't have sex, but they usually did.

Summer was snuggled up to Seth on the couch. She was staring intently at the "Real World" marathon, but he wasn't paying all too much attention.

"Summer, can we put it on mute?" Seth asked, wanting to start a conversation with her.

Summer sat up and frowned. "But it's the funniest part! Jacquese falls of the motorcycle and then Frankie calls Randy an alcoholic and he's like, 'I might cry and then you'll feel like an ass!' and Brad's like, 'No, man, don't cry,' and he's like, 'So I won't cry!' It's hilarious!" Summer explained.

"How many times have you seen this?" Seth asked sarcastically.

Summer sighed and hit the mute button. "What?" she asked.

"I just want to talk," Seth stated.

She smiled. None of her other boyfriends had ever just wanted to talk. "So, I realized we totally alienate ourselves from people on the weekends," she said randomly.

Seth shook his head. "No, at least I don't. I still hang out with Ryan," he pointed out.

Summer rolled her eyes at the comment. "You guys are like inseparable. Do you love him or something?" she asked sarcastically.

Seth took a deep breath in. He figured he would tell her now. It was an odd thing. He couldn't even explain it, but maybe she would understand.

"I actually...When he came, for the first few weeks, I sort of, I had like, a crush on Ryan," Seth confessed. His eyes were full of nervousness and they were planted on Summer's confused face.

"You're gay?!" Summer yelped, "So all the times we've had sex you didn't really enjoy it? And when we make out you close your eyes and pretend I'm Ryan? Oh my God, it's like Dawson's Creek!"

Seth couldn't help but chuckle a little at Summer's freaking out. She wasn't amused.

"I can't believe this!" Summer exclaimed, almost screaming.

"Calm down!" Seth said, pulling her into a hug.

"I'm not gay," he said quietly, "And hopefully we aren't breaking up,"

She pulled away from the hug. "Then, well, do you like other guys?" she asked with heartbreak laced in her tone.

Seth nodded and looked down at the carpet. It seemed like he had made a huge mistake. "I guess I like guys and girls," he said, ashamed.

"Do you still like me?" Summer asked sadly.

Seth nodded and wrapped his arms around her waist. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," he whispered in her ear.

Summer looked up at his face. He looked afraid and upset. It could have been the light, but there seemed to be a glimmer of tears in his eyes. Summer pulled him into a comforting kiss that told him, "It's OK"

"So...you're okay with me being," Seth paused and thought over what he was saying, "bisexual?"

Summer nodded and snuggled up to his chest again. "If we break up, we can go out and look at guys together," she commented with a quick smile.

She turned off the mute button. Things had changed, but not too much. Not too much at all.
