Tears Of Ginerva
She couldn't believe it; she wouldn't believe it she didn't want to. But she saw, she saw with her own eyes, he was there, with her! He couldn't, no she didn't wanted to believe it none of it. Her heart ached, her eyes stung from so many tears that had crawled out and slipped away. Her body felt weak, but she didn't notice any of it, except the aching of her heart.
It was hard to swallow; every breath was like risking her life. She was going back in; she lightly placed each foot in front of her, her heart beating painfully. She looked in, it was true! His hands were all over her; she didn't keep in the scream she had held the first time. When she let it out they both froze and looked at her shocked, she felt paralyzed yet felt so stupid at the same time. "How could you?" she merely said before forcing herself to leave. With that she ran, as fast as her feet would let her go. Before she fell down crying to the sky.
It was shaky to even stand she felt so weak, so dead. She coughed and tried to take a step, but even with that she fell again. But this time, she fell into his arms. She didn't recognize him at first; his blonde hair was wavy all over his head. With blue eyes that looked like the ocean. But when she did she was crying all over again.
She woke to a bed, her head throbbed painfully as her eyes tried to gaze around the room. She slowly rose and leaned against the headboard trying to recollect her thoughts.
She groaned as her head throbbed even more painfully because of her wanting to sit up. He must've heard because he came in he smiled slightly before handing her a cup of water which she took greedily.
"What's wrong?" he said warily, "I haven't seen you cry so much since..." he didn't continue.
Her head hung before she leaned back and leaned on the headboard, "I saw him," she took a breath, "she was there with him," she choked back a sob, "you were right all along."
He gently took her hand and squeezed it, "I'm sorry," she heard him sigh, "I didn't want you to know that way that's why-"
"No!" She stated causing him to jump slightly, "I should be sorry," she continued quietly, "I," but she stopped when he placed a finger on her lips.
"Let me finish," he cleared his throat and took off his finger, "you're my best friend, I didn't want you hurt."
She stared at him, "I know that," she paused and placed the cup gently on the table next to the bed.
"And," he said, "I- You were right about why I told you."
She blinked and stared at him before placing her hand over her month shocked, "Oh," she whispered, "Oh- Colin, I- I don't think I'm ready for anything like that."
He smiled slightly, "it's all right because I'll wait forever if I have too."
She raised an eyebrow, headache forgotten, "why?"
"Because I love you Ginerva Weasley, I always will, "and he left the room, letting her think.
