Chris McLean stood just outside of a gorgeous mansion - not unlike the one he himself owned, but it wasn't the sort of location he was used to hosting television shows in. The camera rolling getting ready to film the commercial, focusing on him, the host began to speak
"Hello, faithful viewers. While it has been many, many long years since we've seen our Total Drama contestants, and I'm sure it's been many long years since they've seen each other as well. But now, unbeknownst to them, we're bringing twelve back, and shoving them in this beautiful house behind me - complete with a faux garden, swimming pool, hot tub, fully equipped and well stocked kitchens, pantries, and the like - with another twelve strangers. The challenge? For all 24 young adults to survive living in this house together while competing in competitions and choosing who to eliminate. Think of it as Total Drama Island, but all under one roof. Challenges, alliances, teams, drama, mayhaps a hint of romance, all under one roof, being filmed 24/7. Oh, and of course, 100,000 big ones on the line. The twist? All of our good ole TD castmates think they're the only one returning and all the newbies are mega fans of the old show. Episodes airing twice weekly as well as 24/7 livestreams of the contestants, this isn't one you're gonna wanna miss."
A/N: Total Drama Housemates (as Chris has just sort of explained) is a syoc, total drama fic. Think of the Total Drama Island setup (teams, competitions, eliminations, etc.) but in a Big Brother type of location (everyone living together, nobody comes into the house, and nobody leaves until they are eliminated.)
I also find it important to mention that this will be taken place in a sort of AU where Total Drama Island is the only TD that exists as those characters (and those versions of said characters) are the only ones I'm fairly comfortable writing for.
This story may (probably) will contain talk/use of things likes drugs, alcohol, sex, etc. so please do not submit an oc if you're uncomfortable with that! I am rating it M for a reason.
