Little Sasuke kept tripping over his kimono. The fifth time he fell, he heard giggling. "Whose there?" a girl younger than him appeared before him. "What are you doing here?" he questioned. She looked at him. "My family was invited here for the fireworks." "Oh so your the Hyuuga Heiress Hinata." "Thats right, but who are you?" "Second born Uchiha Sasuke" she smiled and bowed "Nice to meet you Sasuke." "Hey. Wanna go get sparklers for my mom?" "Sure that would be fun." Sasuke grinned and grabbed Hinata's hand and they walked to his mom. " Oh! Hello there Hina-chan! Sasu-kun what happened to your kimono!." "I fell" Hinata and Mikoto giggled. Sasuke pouted. "Hello ." "Call me Mikoto hunny. What is it that you need?" "We were wondering if we can play with the sparklers, mom." "Of course you can. Just be careful." Mikoto lit the sparklers and gave them to Sasuke and Hinata. "Now go play outside." "Yes Ma'am." Outside Hinata watched the sparkles and giggled. Sasuke was sword fighting air. He looked to his new friend and stared in awe of how the sparklers lit up her face. Suddenly a loud popping noise stunned him. "Look Sasuke! The fireworks!" Hinata grabbed his hand and sat down with him. "Hey on this day we are best friends forever!" she smiled and agreed.
~Present 14 Years Later~
"Hurry up slowpoke! Your mom will start the fireworks without us again!" Hinata called. Sasuke glared "Shut up I'm coming." " Ugh I don't know why everyday after school, you and Naruto always gotta see whose stronger." "Its a male thing." She rolled her eyes. "I see. Anyways lets go!" she started to pull on Sasuke's sleeve. "Let go Idiot!" "Hey who you calling an Idiot, Stupid!" "Who you calling Stupid!" a car pulled up. "Itachi!" Hinata squeeled! Sasuke rolled his eyes this time but felt jealous."Mom sent me to pick you guys up." "Yay! Good cause at this rate, we would have been late for the fireworks." "Hop in." "FRONT SEAT" Hinata and Sasuke yelled at the same time. "What I have front seat!" they said together. "He's my brother." "He likes me more!" "How the hell would you know?" "Your his brother stupid." He growled. "Okay both of you guys back seat." "Whyyy?" "Because your aguring over the front one. Its only fair." "Fine." They both got in the back seat. "Stupid." "Idiot." Itachi sighed and rolled his eyes." Once they got to the Uchiha manor, Hinata family was already there. "Hinata!" Neji and Hanabi ran up to her. They glared at Sasuke. "What?" "Nothing. Anyways comeon! She's starting the fireworks." As soon as she said that fireworks shot in the sky. Itachi pulled Sasuke to the side. "You really should tell her." "I can't...she loves you." "No she doesn't. She loves you 'Stupid'." They looked at Hinata. The lights made her face shine. "Sasuke! Come on!" "Fine." They sat on the driveway watching the show. "Hinata...I have to tell you something." "Me Too." "Okay we'll say it on the count of three. 1...2..3" "I LOVE YOU!" They said at the same time. They looked at each other and laugh. Sasuke grabbed her hand and kissed her. This was really, the best Fourth of July they had since they met. "Eww get a room." Hanabi said. They laughed and continued watching the fireworks.
