He is dead. Monty Oum, creator of many honorable and praiseworthy works, has passed away. He had a loving family, fantastic employees, and all of the sort. My heart has clenched, and I feel like crying. I want to cry, and maybe I will cry. Maybe I will collapse on my bed and mourn, like so many others are still doing, and will continue doing. However, I will also stand firm. This man has left behind a legacy, this man has left behind his courage, his wisdom, his smile, his cheers, all in our memories. Monty Oum may be dead, but he will never be forgotten. Monty may not be able to smile anymore, but that does not mean we can't smile for him. That does not mean his family and friends, not co-workers, but FRIENDS, shall ever let his works rot. Monty is a living legacy, one that will be remembered for centuries. I quote, from Fall Out Boy in their song Centuries, "Some Legends are told, some turned to dust or to gold. But you will remember me, remember me for centuries." Monty will not turn to dust, he will not decay into sand that will be blown away by the wind. He will turn into shining gold, a monument that blinds us in its beauty. Let his friends, family, and us, the community, honor this man. Don't let him die... Let him continue living... In our memories, in our hearts...
