The darkness was creeping into her mind again, trying to consume her. It had been like this since she started Hogwarts. Always there, taking over when it could.

Ginny knew something was wrong. She was smart enough to tell that. She wanted to confide in someone; she was scared of what was happening to her. So she turned to the only friend she could, her diary and within it dear Tom.

Tom was very sweet to her. Always reassuring her and listening to her troubles. But as time went by it only got worse.

Many people were turning up petrified. She woke up in the strangest of places and couldn't remember the longest periods of times.

Ginny was terrified to think that it had something to do with her.

After she was taken into the Chamber by Tom and found out that she was indeed the one responsible, she was devastated. Even after she was rescued by Harry, she felt no better.

Her family took her to Egypt that summer in hopes that she would get better. So she put on her best fake smile that was able to fool everybody.

As the time to return to Hogwarts drew nearer, she knew she couldn't go back. The night of August 29, 1993 Ginny Weasley took her own life.

At her funeral, everyone said that they should have seen it coming. That maybe they could have stopped it. But no one had been able to see through her fake smiles and past her happy mask. The life of one so young was lost to them forever.
