Sonic was walking home from a long, tedious visit at the doctor's office. Shadow recommended that he go after Sonic complained of stomach problems.
Sonic was overjoyed with what the doctor said, and he knew Shadow would feel the same.
When Sonic entered the house, he quietly shut the door, as he knew Shadow needed his sleep as he just completed a mission for G.U.N.
As Sonic ascended the stairs, he heard his boyfriend moaning and slapping something. Sonic smirked as he imagined the ebony hedgehog jacking-off.
"Shadow, I have some great news," Sonic said, walking into their bedroom, but stopped dead in his track when he saw what was happening on his bed.
Shadow, his friend, his support, his love was having sex on their bed with his ex. Shadow was dick deep in the red cat.
"Shadow, how could you?" Sonic asked, tearing up.
"Forget it you rodent, Shadow never wanted you, he only wanted to fuck you to pleasure himself," The cat said
"Shadow, is this true?"
"Yep Faker," Shadow said without any emotion, "when Scarlett and I broke up, I needed to satisfy my sexual urges, and lucky for me, you came along."
"Shadow, you never cared for me, after all this time I supported you, you stole my virginity and broke up with me?"
"You heard him rodent, Shadow never loved you, now pack your stuff and get out of our house," Scarlett said.
As Sonic grabbed his stuff, and left the house, he left a note on the fireplace mantle that read:
Dear Shadow,
I now know you never wanted me to be with you, and I've accepted that. I just wanted to let you know that I am pregnant with your child, and I am intending to keep him/her.

Sonic made his way out of Station. Square with a bag full of his belongings. He then ran towards to Tails' home.
The next day, Sonic arrived at the house. He saw a peach-colored rabbit playing with her son.
"Hello Cream," Sonic said, leaning at the fence.
"Sonic, it been a long time," Cream said, heading towards the gate, letting Sonic in.
"Mama, who that?" The fox-rabbit hybrid asked.
"This is a friend of ours, Mikel," Cream said, picking him up, "this is Sonic."
"Hi Mithter Thonic, my name ith Mikel," the young hybrid said, shaking Sonic's hand.
"Come inside, Sonic, you look tired," Cream said, leading Sonic inside.
Once they were inside, Cream headed into the kitchen to make tea, leaving Sonic and Mikel in the living room.
"Mikel, where is your father?" Sonic asked.
"He'th at an inventors conferenth," Mikel said.
"Sonic, what happened? Why did you come here?" Cream asked.
"Shadow cheated on me, and kicked me out," he replied sadly.
Before Cream could speak, the two-tailed fox entered the house.
"Cream, Mikel, I'm home," Tails said.
"Hey Tails," Sonic waved at the fox.
"Cream, can you take Mikel outside for a second?" Tails asked, staring at Sonic.
When Cream and Mikel left, Tails pulled Sonic to the kitchen.
"How dare you step foot in my house," Tails spat.
"Tails, I am sorry for allowing her to be killed. You have to forgive me."
"No, if you didn't realize, she was pregnant with my child!"
"Tails you ju-" Sonic began before Tails interrupted him.
"Get the hell out of my house," Tails said, walking out of the house, "I will give you five minutes."
When Sonic left, he left a note there as well.
Tails,
I know you probably will never forgive me for allowing Cosmo to die. I knew that she was pregnant, and she made me promise not to tell you, but I feel I must. She told me that she was had a miscarriage, and she was going to tell you before the battle, but she couldn't bring it to tell you.

Sonic walked out of the house and looked at the next person on his list.
"Nope, Knuckles has always been against me dating Shadow."
"Let's see, Rouge and Amy, no, they didn't like me and Shadow choosing each other instead of them."
It started to rain, and Sonic wasn't paying attention to where he was going, and bumped into Shadow on the street.
"Faker, I told you to get out of here,"Shadow sneered.
"I am sorry Shadow, but I didn't mean to bump into you," Sonic said, standing up.
"I got your letter, and I think you should kill that child. It will only be a reminder of a stupid mistake you made," Shadow said.
Sonic looked at Shadow with disbelief, "You know I could never kill someone, especially a child."
"Suit yourself, you slur," Shadow said, walking towards a jewelry shop, presumably to get a ring for Scarlett.
With that, Sonic walked into the rain, and never looked back.
