I never really asked for anything more than what I have now, my country is big and slowly becoming stable, my neighbor is easily annoyed by my presence, which is good cause I get to bother him quite often, and my good friends live nearby, but... sometimes I wonder if God hates me. He makes my people's life and mine harder than others or so it seems. It was rather hot outside, but none the less it was a beautiful day.
The city was crowded and people walked around happy, something that I am glad to see; I heard a flash come from somewhere behind me followed by what it seemed as a familiar blond hair, quickly I turned around and searched for the person with that hair. It couldn't be... She's... My eyes stopped when they found what they were searching for. Is this some kind of joke? Does God hate me that much? I made my way towards her, she seem surprised to see me walking her way and apologized for taking a picture of me. Oh, she doesn't know me... I smiled at her and offered to give her a small tour of the place. So she wasn't the same, she was rather happy to be here she said the place was beautiful and I smiled. Even in another life she still thinks the same; she asked for my name "Francis" I told her and she nodded. I took her to the best places in the city for I wanted her to have a great remembrance of this day and this place that once was her homeland.
The sun shined bright above us and the light breeze moved her short hair and long dress in a rhythmical enchanting way, she is as beautiful as I remember. "When I first saw you, I thought god was pulling a cruel trick on me...but I see you're living a happy life. It seems like my wish has been granted." I said before leaving her, she tried looking for me, but of course she did not found me. When she left the place after taking a few more pictures I walked out of my hiding spot and stood in the same place she had smiling at the beautiful blue sky, "I am glad you are happy Jeanne."
Maybe God did not hate me after all.
