I do not own Naruto or Hear You Me by Jimmy Eat World
Very short story about Sakura when she is older and when she loses her father figure in her life. This story is basicly what I expect to experience later with my fatherlike figure so I'm sorry if it isn't correct. Also, I haven't done any writing since last year so I'm extremely rusty and this is sort of to get me back into the swing of things. Listen to the song: Hear you Me - Jimmy Eat World for the mood.
Sakura paced Kakashi's hospital room as she waited for him to wake. Lately his illness has gotten so bad that doctors warned her that it could happen any day now. She glanced at the bed to find Kakashi's eyes opened slightly. Rushing over slightly she grasped his hand as she sat by his bed. Tears started to fall down her face as Kakashi started to fall asleep again. Sakura sat there for hours or what seemed like hours, she had lost her sense of time, as she watched Kakashi's chest raise and fall until it stopped. She didn't realize it had stopped until the nurse came in with Kakashi's blanket and noticed. "Sakura, I'm sorry but he's gone," the nurse stated before leaving Sakura to find the doctor. Two days later Sakura stood in black in front of a tombstone that read, " Hatake Kakashi has come to rest here after his life was taken by Alzheimer's at the age of 67."
I'm sorry it was so short, I don't usually make it that short. However, I feel it was the perfect length.
