Shana stood at her spot beside the Christmas tree, looking anxiously at the clock. Yuji is late. He should just follow my instructions and come here and not go to the south exit to find that Yoshida Kazumi. After what seems like a really long time, she looked at the clock again only to find that five minutes have passed.

A flurry of footsteps followed by the sounds of heavy breathing could be heard. Looking up from the ground, Shana's eyes brightened.

The bakery down the street, which is famous for its melon bread, had just put up a sign:

MELON BREAD AT HALF PRICE

Shana ran to the store, trying to beat the throng of people. She had half the mind to cast a fuzetsu but decided against it. Alastor and Wilhelmina won't be happy if I cast a fuzetsu for something like buying melon bread.

Sakai Yuji arrived just in time to see Shana dashing off in the direction of the bakery. Looking at the sign, he sighed and chased after her.

"Yuji, you're late. Help me get the melon bread before they run out."

The significance of Yuji's appearance could wait. Right now, she has to focus on the diminishing number of melon bread in the store. In the end, melon bread is more important than me. He sighed good-naturedly and did as he was told. A small smile made its way to his face when he saw how happy Shana was with the amount of bread she managed to buy.

AN: A really lame reason why Shana's eyes brightened at the end of season 2. Hope you all enjoyed it and maybe laughed a little.
