Chapter 1 The Promise

As the sun was setting a young girl about 8 was getting chased by a young boy of the same age

Lucy: You cant catch me Loke hahaha. Her blonde hair bouncing up and down

Loke: Oh yes I will Lucy! His orange hair running with the wind

Lucy trips and rolls down a nearby hill and Loke stops and runs down after her

Loke: Lucyy are you okay !? she is at the bottom of the hill lying still and he goes up to her and checks if her heart is beating

Lucy: RAWRR! Loke jumps back slightly frightened and laughs

Loke: Aren't you the little lioness. Lucy giggles softly and gets up realizing her pink dress is ruined

Lucy: Mother will scold me for this ~sighs softly~ oh well I hate the color pink any ways

Loke chuckles

Virgo: Lucy! Loke!

Loke: looks like our parents are looking for us. They both run towards the maid in front of the castle.

Virgo: Lucy! What did you do to your dress?! We must get you changed immedietly before your parents and king Leon see you.

Lucy groans : fineeeeeee ill see you at dinner Loke .

Virgo: Loke go inside and clean up dinner will be at 6pm in the grand dining hall

Loke nods and Virgo and Lucy go inside and clean her up .

Lucy walks around her room in a now blue gown with a soft lavender tint in it

Lucy: Now this I like. she walks out of her room to explore the castle

Loke:Pssstt .. Pssst .. lucy looks around for a person until she spots spiky orange hair

Lucy: Loke ! she walks towards him

Loke: shhh and follow me. He grabs her hand and leads her through a secret passageway to a hidden room decorated with Keys and Jewels and tapastries of his passions

Lucy : whoahhh. she exclaims

Loke: this is my secret getaway. He smiles. I like to escape the royal life sometimes and think here.

Lucy was fiddling with a small sapphire comb accessoire

Loke: it was ,my mothers . he smiles at the cute blonde

Lucy : ohh im sorry. she put the comb down in Loke's palm. I bet you miss her

Loke put the comb in Lucy's hair and smiles

Lucy: oh no I can't accept this she smiles shyly

Loke: it's my gift to you

Lucy: Arigato Loke-Kun

Loke: ohh one more thing! Loke un clasps something around his neck and puts it around Lucy's neck.

Lucy: the prince's Emblem! A locket with a roaring lion on the front.

Loke: I want you to promise me to never forget me and to never take that off and that we will be friends forever.

Lucy nods: Of course! She gets out her handkerchief with her initials L. H and her emblem, a blue key and lock, and gives it to Loke

Lucy: keep this with you always as a promise to me. She smiles

They hear a faint voice

Virgo: Prince Loke! Princess Lucy! Dinner time!

Loke: well I guess we have to go Lucy, our parents are expecting us
