So, if you've read the AN on my story Mage Light, you'll know that I've been in the hospital recently. It's a long story that I'd rather you pm me about, by the way. But since I've been gone for a while, I wanted to go back to the first story I had ever written for Fairy Tail. It never was posted on here because I despised it at the time, but I have no brain power to actually come up with something, so I'm just typing whatever words I wrote on a paper back in 7th grade, which was a semi-long time ago. I shipped ErLu from the start, and this story is how conveyed my emotions. This might end up as a multi-chapter, I don't really know. Either way, I'm posting it, so enjoy.

Lucy rolled over onto her side, surprised to be met with the face of someone other than Natsu. She shook her head, as if she believed she was dreaming.

Erza Scarlet was in her bed.

Erza had spent the night before, having came drunk to the Celestial mage's door in the early hours of the morning. Lucy knew why she had gotten drunk, but had no idea as to why she decided to come here. Maybe it's because this was the closest place that Erza could think of. Yeah, that made sense. Erza was snuggled around her waist, her breath tickling Lucy's chest.

Erza still smelt like alcohol.

Lucy wanted to comfort the knight in front of her, but she knew never to wake a sleeping giant. Not that Erza was a giant or anything, it was a mere metaphor.

She sat there, Erza wrapped around her body and the sun shining in through the window. What time was it anyways? It didn't matter, she had nothing planned. She let her eyes blink until they finally shut, bringing her mind back into the endless plane called dreamland.

There were two people in front of her, but they weren't close to her in any way. They were a few hundred meters in front of her, backs turned to her. She could spot their hair colors anywhere. Jellal slowly turned, away from his companion, until Lucy could see half of his face, he smirked. Lucy wanted to scream out at the other person there, warn them of the impending doom they were sure to face, but she couldn't speak, she couldn't even move. She simply stood there, thoughts racing.

Jellal turned back to his original position and grabbed the other person's hand, intertwining his fingers with her's. Lucy screamed, though she couldn't hear it. The pair slowly disappeared. Once they had vanished, Lucy could feel her feet again. She ran to where they once stood, only to find someone else there, someone who made her smile.

Natsu.

Lucy woke with a start. The sun had gone down, and the smell of strawberry and vanilla wafted from her bathroom. Lucy stood up and stretched, sleepily following the scent through her apartment. Her bathroom door was cracked open, and she could see scarlet through the slim opening.

"Hey, Erza, sleep well?" Lucy peered her head into the bathroom and looked for wet spots on the floor. Not seeing any, she stepped in.

"Erza?" Lucy ran over to the bathtub and shook the redhead's shoulder.

She wasn't moving.

Lucy screamed and saw gold. She felt her head hit the ground and heard the familiar voice of Virgo, only it didn't sound monotone. She said something, but Lucy had fainted fully by then.

'Virgo could take care of this,' she thought as she closed her eyes for the last time before slipping into sleep.
