I woke up that morning by the sound of Pidgey's chriping their morning song, bringing a bright smile to my lips. I ran out of my room and down the stairs, following the smell of food. I arrive in the kitchen.BR
"Good morning. honey!!" My mother greeted cheerfully and kissed me on the forehead. "Sleep well?"BR
"Yes mom!" I answerd as I sat down at my place at the table.BR
"Here's my brithday boy's breakfast!" She sat down a heaping plate of French Toast, in front of me. I pratically poured it down my throat. Almost choking once in awhile.BR
"Slow down honey," My mother advised, after hearing me choke for the fifth time.BR
"Yes mom!" I said with a mouthful.BR
"Time to open your presents son!!"My father said as he came donw the stairs.BR
"PRESENTS!!!!!!!" I ran out of the kitchen, past my father, and to my seat on the couch in the living room.BR
"Here you go son, this one's really special." My father handed me a small wrapped box. BR
I open it slowly and polietly. I pull out a chain with a green stone on it. "What is it dad?" I marvled at it's beauty.BR
"It's called a Junis stone," my father told me. "It controlls the weather depending on your emotion." BR
"Cool!" I put the necklace on and moved onto another package. My mother handed me a soft, squishy package. I sweatdropped. "Undewear..." I moved on to somthing more intresting. The rest of my present were decent; after the underwear was a blue and white vest, a couple of sizes too big, but I would grow into it. then some gren biking gloves, also a couple of sizes too big.BR
That night, my father recived a emergency phone call from his job. They were wanting him to come in. He kept saying "no", but the finally convinced him. He kissed my mother on the cheek and my on the top of my head. "I'll be back as soon as I can." He said as he walked out the door.BR
A few hours pass and there was a knock on the door.BR
"I'll get it!!!!" I ran to the door, hoing it was my father. I opened the door and insted of seeing my fathers smiling face I saw an frowning Officer Jenny.BR
"Ash, is your mom home?" she asked.BR
I nodd and I turn towards the living room. "MOM!"BR
"What hon...?" She notice Officer Jenny and her expression changes instanly. "Yes..."BR
"Good evening Ms. Ketchum, I bring unfortunate news. Your husband has been killed in a car accident. I am sorry for your loss. Good night." Officer Jenny looked as if she were about to cry, she turned and left.BR
