My first HM fan fic so please be nice to me!

Tim had his forehead resting against his arms, which were resting on his very messy desk, his mind full of images of his nurse. His nurse was at her desk in the main room of the clinic, completely unaware of what her boss was thinking. Tim groaned. Why did he have to have such a horrible life? Elli had absolutely no interest in him and Claire constantly bugged him about telling Elli how he felt. He was her boss for Goddess' sake! There was no way that a kind girl like her would fall for her grumpy boss who was six years older than her.

There was a tap at his door. Tim looked up. Elli was standing in the doorway of his office. No doubt she had heard him groan. He groaned inwardly. She looked so innocent. Too innocent to know that Tim's gaze was often fixed to the spot below her apron bow on her lower back when she wasn't looking. Yeah, yeah, he was a dirty old man... well, not old but you get the idea.

"Are you alright, Tim?" she asked.

"Yes, I'm fine," he replied. "I was just thinking about cleaning my desk but..."

"Not an easy task, hmm?" She laughed.

Goddess, Tim loved it when she laughed. It was his favourite sound, better than his favourite song on the radio. The old, beat up radio in the corner...

"Glad nothing's wrong." Elli smiled.

She left. Tim sat there for a little while longer, thinking. He loved Elli dearly. She was such a sweet girl. Then, he could stand it no longer. He got up, told Elli he was going to the supermarket and walked down the road to the supermarket. He hoped Jeff had one in stock. As he walked into the supermarket, he noticed nobody was around. Just as Jeff came out of the back room, he saw what he wanted.

A blue feather.

Jeff saw Tim looking at it.

"Elli, huh?" he said.

"Does everybody know?" Tim asked.

Jeff smiled. Tim handed the 1000 gold and picked up the feather. He turned to go. The door opened and Claire came in. Tim nearly swore. A huge grin spread across Claire's face.

"Oh good," she said. "I was just going to come and give you your daily lecture. Now... how are you going to do it?"

Tim ran for it. Claire was awful when it came to this kind of stuff. He stuffed the feather in his pocket and hurried back to the clinic. When inside, he asked Elli to come to the beach with him.

"Um, okay..." she said.

Dammit. He could already see that she would turn him down. But he had to get it off his chest. She walked ahead of him and the whole time, Tim stared at her backside. He was such a dirty old man. Tim checked to see whether Kai was around when they got to the beach. The sun was just setting and Tim could barely see Elli's face.

"Uh, so, how is Ellen doing?" he asked her.

Elli smiled. "I massage her legs every day. I really hope I can find a cure for her one day!"

"You are strong," Tim said.

"Wh-What?"

"I-I've fallen in love with you Elli."

She blushed. Tim blinked. She's blushing?! he thought. Is that a good sign? He took a step towards her and her blush deepened. Yeeeess!!

"I l-like you t-too, Tim," she said. "I was hoping that you would notice one day."

Tim decided right then and there that she was the sweetest girl he'd ever met. He took another step closer and another and another. He put a hand on her cheek. Elli smiled.

"I want you to stay by my side," Tim told her. "I'd miss you terribly if you left. So... I got you this."

He took out the blue feather. That was when Elli threw herself at him and kissed him.

I love Elli and the Doctor! They are so cute!
