As school starts, Mr. Van Driessen announces role call. For the third week in a row, Beavis and Butt-head are absent from school, and now grows worried about them, wondering where they are. As he makes it to McVicker's office to let him know that they have not been back to school for a long period of time, McVicker tells him to deal with it himself, but Van Driessen suggests they get the secretary, Ms. Tress, to call the duo's parents.

The duo never answer the phone, and a search party is sent out. As the day ends, the boys are found dead by Tom Anderson. Word on the boys' deaths spreads quickly, and the alien metal band, GWAR, responds to this news. Oderus Urungus himself personally arranges for the boys to be honored with a viking funeral, and GWAR sends out invitations to the funeral to many of Beavis and Butt-head's other favorite musicians. All the musicians arrive at the lake in the outskirts of Highland, and Oderus announces the reason they're there. The funeral is put into action. Jizmak Da Gusha and Flattus Maximus load the bodies of Beavis and Butt-head onto a viking ship and send it adrift, Balsac The Jaws Of Death, Metallica's James Hetfield, Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson, and Motorhead's Lemmy fire flaming arrows at the boat, and finally, Oderus Urungus tosses a flaming sword onto the boat. With everything set straight, all the musicians return home.
