Flashback

She saw them, Inuyasha and her, kissing. Why? Why had he gone to her, yet again? "Inuyasha." she said, stepping out from behind the trees.

He broke the kiss, and said, "Kagome, let me explain! She—"

Kagome cut him off. "Save your excuses. This is the last time you will hurt me, Inuyasha! Goodbye forever." She took out her jewel shards and gave them to him. Then, she ran.

Still Kagome's POV

Why? Why had he hurt her? She was at the well. Stopping to rest, she began to sing.

I'm so tired of being here

"Kagome!" Inuyasha landed in front of her.

"Inuyasha, why? Why did you have to hurt me?" she said, pain evident in her voice, a hurt look in her eyes.

"Kagome, it was Kikyou who started the kiss! I had gone there to tell her to leave me alone!" When that didn't seem to work, he said, a note of desperation in his voice, "Kagome, please don't go! I love you!" That being said, he kissed her.

When she broke the kiss, she was smiling. "Inuyasha, I love you too!" Then they kissed again.
