This is my second fanfic. It's another little drabble that came to my mind. Enjoy!
A Dream
I dreamed a dream like no other dream before.
A dream of white queens and red queens, of pawns and of hearts.
I dreamed of a floating smile, which turned out to be a cat, which disappeared and reappeared whenever he liked.
I dreamed of a grinning moon, a blue caterpillar, and animals that were furniture.
I dreamed of a white rabbit in a waistcoat, always leading me, always late.
I dreamed of painting white roses red, drinking something to make me small, and eating something to make me big.
I dreamed of a tea party where they sang songs, made jokes, and teased me.
But most of all I dreamed of a hatter who was mad, who conducted the others as maestro does an orchestra. I'll never forget that Mad Hatter or his tea party.
After that I dreamed of a great darkness coming and I had to leave.
That is were my dream ended, but I shall never forget it.
After all, I have dreamed a dream like no other dream before.
