I do not own Vincent Valentine, Lucrica, Chaos, Cloud or Hojo.

I am the Dark One.

The wispers behind my back, the looks from passersby,

They do not even know me, how dare they judge me. They are strangers, or is that my reflection?

I am the Dark One.

I am alone, all ways alone, I want to be alone,

Or maybe, just maybe, I don't.

I am the Dark One.

Wallowing in grief, in my sins,

Of how I failed you, Lucrica, my love. Did you love me? I do not know, I will never know.

I am the Dark One,

All my emotions are gone, nothing left,

Just sorrow, and pain. I do not even deserve that.

I am the Dark One.

I am like a shadow, following our leader, Cloud,

Like a child's game, was I a child? I must have been, I must... Once.

I am the Dark One.

The anger dwells inside me, burning me, hating me,

Chaos, am I Chaos? No, I am worse.

I am the Dark One.

I do not age, I wish I did. With age comes death,

With death comes release, from this, from me.

I am the Dark One.

You did this to me Hojo. Why? What was there to gain?

I am but a meer experiment to you, like everyone else.

I am the Dark One.

I am not a man, not a beast,

Not even a experiment, I am not worth those titles.

I am the Dark One,

Alone in the dark. Forever alone, leave me alone.

I wish only to sleep.
