Spencer. Model girl, straight-A student, beautiful. But somehow she just can't compare to Melissa. Problems with her past boyfriends coming back to haunt her, learning a devastating secret about her mother, and tentatively bridging the void between herself and her sister, Spencer's wound up, paranoid, and tense.
She wouldn't be surprised if Spencer just snaps one day.
Aria. Spunky, feisty, slightly rebellious. Torn up over her parents possible split as well as heartbroken about her own break-up, she's too caught up in her own affairs to notice the problems of her friends.
What's Aria going to do, she wonders, when word gets out of her 'extra credit' sessions with Mr. Fitz?
Hannah. Dealing with financial problems at home, friendship problems at school, and with countless secrets weighing down on her, she may look like she has it all, but the scars from when she clawed her way up are still clearly visible.
Hannah is a particularly interesting nut to crack, since she knows all of her petty insecurities.
Emily. Although her father just came back and lifted one issue from her mind, there're many more still present, such as the three relationships she was juggling, as well as tiptoeing around her parents.
The reactions will be lovely, she thinks.
Of course, she had to get rid of Hannah. Like she said, she'd known too much. Typical, she thinks as the three girls stare in horror at their friend, spinning in the air before landing, instead of trying to follow the car. They never did think anything through without proper guidance.
Anything else, anything more to deal with, and they just might spill. But Alison trained them not to, and they listened to Alison. But she'll make sure they get more, even if they don't want any, because of course, that's what she does. Sneaking, spying, knowing all their secrets. So, as she drives away, leaving three girls hysterical and one unconscious, she smiles to herself. Things just got a lot more interesting.
Just to clarify, whenever the writing is in italics, the 'she' mentioned is A. When it's normal writing, the 'she' mentioned is the one that the little paragraph is on.
I haven't read the books yet, so I don't know who A is- don't flame for (nonexistent) spoilers.
This is spur-of-the-moment writing, immediately after I saw the summer finale (it was AMAZING), and since you read it, why not review?
