-1Makoto rubbed the back of her neck as her cheeks lit up with embarrassment. She rocked on her heels uneasily after ringing the doorbell. Her gaze wandered from the door to the Lilies of the Valley that encircled the tree, and she turned around to admire them a little closer.

"Like those, huh?"

Makoto looked up, releasing a small gasp. She didn't even hear the door open. She nodded, money in hand. "They're my favorite flower."

"Cool, cool.. I've got seeds for 'em around here, uh, somewhere. I'm not really sure where they are. That's the case for most things around here though, heh." He pushed his long hair back and slipped on some sunglasses as he stepped into the sun with Makoto.

A caravan of little girls idled by on new, glittery pink and violet bicycles. Makoto handed Jack the money after they passed, and the American shook his head and smiled, sifting through it inconspicuously. He handed Makoto a little of it back.

"Oh, did I bring too much? I thought you said ¥7165 over the phone."

"Nah, just a little discount for being pretty." Jack handed her a paper bag and a pink marker. "Draw something cute on there."

"Hmm…" Makoto uncapped the marker and drew a very chubby pig couple with happy faces.

"Perfect. Pleasure doing business with ya, Makoto."

She handed the marker back and smiled as he turned around and went into his house again. She did it! She actually bought some pot. The ounce was going straight into some delicious peanut butter brownies, with a delicious ice cream topping, made especially for Usagi. It was June 30th, after all, and Usagi's birthday dessert had to be special.

Makoto slipped on some fuzzy yellow slippers and an apron. She emptied her latest purchase onto a tray, and then found her herb grinder. She giggled as she thought of all of the times she used it for mint or lemongrass- now it was paraphernalia.

After the ounce was ground, and she removed the bits of stem and the seeds, she poured a ½ cup of vegetable oil into a preheated skillet. She mixed the ground herb into the skillet's oil, and set the stove so that it would just barely simmer.

"This isn't so hard. That just needs to simmer for about 25 minutes." She looked over the printed recipe and nodded her head in affirmation, turning her oven on. Makoto then began to get all of the brownie's ingredients mixed together, but 15 minutes into it, the stench from the cooking pot-oil was almost unbearable.

She ran all over her apartment, opening windows and turning on fans, lighting candles and plugging in air fresheners.

She held her nose as she returned to the stove top to turn it off, setting a greased pan and gooey chocolaty brownie mix to the side.

"This better be worth the smell…" Makoto strained the THC-infused oil, then poured it into the mix. After stirring it well and pouring it from the bowl to the pan, Mako-chef slid the pan into her oven, and let her special space cakes bake. She could hardly wait to add the ice cream topping.
