This is a little poem I wrote in Vahn's POV about Mei and his unspoken love for her. This is written while Vahn is in Sol after reviving its Genesis Tree.

And there I stand, my hand upon the glass, looking upon the bright eyes of TiegI wish that you stand on the other side of the world, doing the same, thinking of me
I miss you so, and yet, you do not know
My love is unknown, like water in the desert
It's there, but unseen, and desired
I wish to be with you, but I always fall short of saying so
My duty draws me far away
I clasp my hand around the pendant, which hangs from my neck
I always keep it close to my heart, as if you were it
I always thought you'd do the same for me
I always wished you would, at least
I always promise to return
We feel the love for one another, but we do not say it
Perhaps it is pride that keeps our lips at bay
Perhaps it is the many miles between us, and the gallons of sea
Perhaps it is the cruelty of the Mist, which separates brothers and sisters
Friends and lovers
I feel so alone.
I miss you.
