Sasuke marched away from the scene, scowling with frustration.
Orochimaru and Kabuto watched him leave, knowing that he'd return on his own.
It wasn't the first time this had happened.
Stalking angrily through the trees, silently fuming as he went, Sasuke moved without aim or purpose. He just had to get away.
He wasn't prepared to stumble upon the blonde, sleeping with his back against the tree. His hair fell messily accross his face, his eyes fluttered lightly with his dreams. A slight sliver of drool graced his lips and his chest fell and rose quietly.
The guard had fallen asleep.
A bit to the east, a few tents were visable and Sasuke could smell recent smoke.
'Tsk.' Sasuke muttered under his breath. "What a bad guared you are."
Creeping closer to Naruto, Sasuke marvelled at how much the other had changed after 3 years apart.
Age had turned him into a young man, his face looked older. But pyhsical appearance wasn't all. Sasuke could feel the enourmace strength coursing from the other boy.
"...Sasuke..." Naruto mumbled in his sleep, his lips changing into a small frown.
Sasuke paused, watching Naruto's eyes. The boy did not wake though.
"So your still chasing me, eh Naruto?" Sasuke mused quietly.
Crouching down Sasuke crept forward until his face was a breath away from Naruto's. He watched the boys face twitch slightly as Sasuke's presence mingled with his.
Sasuke traced the marks on Naruto's cheeks with his eyes, took in the dark eye lashes and soft lips.
Leaning forward, Sasuke brushed his lips against Naruto's.
Naruto woke with a start, feeling as though an electric shock had just coursed through his body.
Looking around he found no cause so then proceeded to reprimand himself for falling asleep.
Sasuke watched from a tree high above Naruto, smirking to himself.
Pressing his fingers lightly to his own lips Sasuke turned away and headed back to his own camp, a small smile on his face.
Naruto was still chasing him.
Naruto still, thought of him.
'Naruto is still mine.'
