Author's note: It's been a while since I updated, so I thought I'd toss something out that I've had written since about Valentine's Day. :3; I'm going through a bit of a writing slump, right now, but I'm looking to expand on my writing style, so don't give up on me yet. :X

During the long, tedious hours of school, and all through his classes, Malik Ishtar's mind wandered. Beneath the shade of a tree at lunchtime, Anzu was blushing and holding something close to her chest; Yuugi seemed strangely quiet, compared to his usual cheerfulness. Jounouchi was grinning like the cat that got the cream as he munched on a sandwich, despite the fact there was still lipstick smudged on his cheek (neither he nor Mai seemed to be good at masking things); Malik idly thought that Jounouchi was an idiot if he thought no one would notice it.
Honda was nowhere to be found, ironically (Malik had passed him in one of the phone booths outside the school just before lunch began, and Honda had been talking quite animatedly to someone on the opposite end: Shizuka).
The sudden burst of flowery romance and blushing girls had Malik especially gloomy; all throughout the day, tittering girls in alarmingly short skirts would brush past him, making sure to get a good glimpse of his backside. Malik refrained from ripping his textbooks apart when he threw his locker open in his irritation, and several dozen paper roses flew right out at him.
Even on his way home, Malik had been trailed (none too subtly) by a flock of giggling girls, each hoping to get some sort of gift from him; it only seemed to excite them more and elicit more squealing when he revved the engine of his motorbike loudly, glaring at them all. All in all, his day had not been enjoyable.
Once he'd done all his homework (his literature assignment was the result of scrunched up papers in his wastebasket), showered and crawled into bed, Malik still found he was in a sour mood – after all, it was only a matter of time until the man who had been on his mind all day would join him between the sheets.
Sweat, hunger, and sex: Malik knew these three things by heart, and expected no more from a thief.

A/N: Well, that's it from me. XD; I hope this wasn't too bad - seems a little short - but I'm doing my best for Citron. xx; Anyway, any reviews are appreciated, and constructive criticism is to DIE for.
