wonder if anyone covered this strange topic already. No one seemed to
be questioning why the campus security tech suddenly appeared as an
AV tech. I know it's like 5 years already, but so what? grins Oh

An innocently little note, folded over with the name "M. Blaze" written in capital letters facing the rest of the world, was taped besides the yellow PostIt note warning the occupants of the little room about leaving drinks besides monitors. The room was thrown out of darkness with a flick of the light switch and a hand swiped the note off the screen.
Hey Blaze, it's Archie. Just thought I'll let you know that I've gotten the job as the AV tech for the crime lab. It is so cool! All the state-of-the-art toys at my disposal! Well, I just wanna thank you for getting me to cover for you that day. If not for that bad flu of yours, I might not have the chance to be in contact with those CSIs, much less work with them.
...Not that bad flus are good of course.
Anyway, I so owe you dinner. Gimme a ring when you're free okay?
The man known as Blaze crumpled the note in one hand, cursing his luck. It could've been him playing with those government-paid equipments instead of Archie. Oh yes, he is definitely going to make Archie pay. That fancy restaurant over at the Caesar Palace sounds very nice indeed...
