Ok, this was kind of random, so it might be a little strange, but I hope you like it!
Max POV:
You know, taking watch can be really boring sometimes. The rest of the flock is asleep, and I am taking first watch. I have a half hour left, and even though all my sense are on hyper-alert, I am as bored as heck.
Not to mention it is absolutely freezing here. Here being some random forest in the middle of nowhere (like I'd tell you where we are). Hmm, maybe I should try one of those games that you do in your head that are supposed to make you stop thinking of how bored you are, but really just make you even more bored.
I must be really desperate.
I think I'll try the alphabet one Nudge was rambling about the other day. I cast my gaze around the flock and stopped at Fang, looking peaceful as he slept. Unintentionally, I softened. Anyway, back to the game. Ok, fang, Alphabet, here goes:
Annoying. I mean, he just has to have an answer for everything!
Brave. He's taken on some tough responsibilities, and would do anything for the flock, just like me.
Capable. He can take care of the flock just fine. I've seen him do it.
Dark. I mean, dark eyes, dark hair, dark skin, how else can you describe him?
Excellent flyer. He is almost as good as me. Almost.
Fast. You should see him in a fight. I'd bet on him, any day.
Ummm… Good? I think I'll come back to this one…
Hungry. You should see this boy eat!
Intense. Try having an argument with someone who's eyes are burning right through you. Not easy.
Uh, Jumbo sized? He is pretty big…
Kind. When Angel has a nightmare and I'm not there, Fang takes care of her. It's very sweet.
Lazy. You try waking him up sometimes.
Monotonous. I mean, I am his best friend, and he barely even talks to me. Not that he needs to, though. We can have an entire conversation just be looking at each other, we know each other so well.
Nerdy. He knows the most random things.
Original. He isn't really the type to copy other people.
Peaceful. Unless you make him mad, he is usually pretty mild.
Quiet. If he doesn't want to talk, you can't make him.
Um, Random, I guess. This is a hard one.
Smart. Or stupid. Either would apply quite truthfully.
Trustworthy. I trust him with my life.
Unpredictable. Most of the time, you never know whether he is going to agree with you, or start yelling at you.
Vigilant. I don't know how I know that word, actually.
Warm. I swear, that boy is like a personal fireplace.
I can't believe it took me half an hour to get to W. Anyway, I get to wake up Fang now, and it's his turn to be bored out of his mind. I wonder what he will do?
