I can never, ever find this ship. No fanart, no fanfics...

The song 'Wipe Your Eyes' by Maroon 5 made me think of them, and so I wrote this to the tune of it. Please enjoy one of the first LeitEst/EstLeit fanfictions ever.

It was another one of those days. I wanted to leave, yet I was being too nice, thinking of him laying where I had left him. Where would he go if I went?

I don't want to fight, but it just gets worse every time. We just started messing around one day with this, not thinking of feelings, and yet somehow I found myself caring deeply for the man in front of me. I don't want to fight.

As I get up to leave, a hand catches my arm. He stared up at me with a trembling lip and pleading eyes, his glasses lost somewhere at the bedside table.

I kneeled next to him, and he grasped my shirt, pulling me close. A warm liquid started soaking into my shirt, and I looked down, shocked to see the tears spilling over from his eyes.

Body racked with sobs, he looked pitiful, and I couldn't help the twinge in my heart.

I wrapped my arms around his frame, pulling him close. Whispering in his ear, I murmured soft words. "I know that this is because of me. So if you need to cry, I'll be here."

The sobbing slowed, but didn't stop just yet. I held him for a few more minutes until he had calmed down. Laying him back down, I ran my thumb across his cheek to wipe away his last tears.

"Breathe, and don't worry. You can cry all you need, Eduard." I murmured lovingly. "I'll keep you safe."

He hid himself from me, blankets over his head.

"Will you let me see you face?" I asked delicately. "I won't give you up."

Slowly, the blankets lowered, and I met his flighty blue eyes. "Don't… mess with my head… Toris."

I gave a sad smile, cupping his face in my hand. "I promise that I'm not messing with you. Don't give up on me."

"I hope… I'm right for trusting you." He murmured.

I nodded, a sad but fond smile spreading across my face as I watched him. Laying back down next to him, I again wrap my arms around him.

Soon, I will mend his broken heart.
