The tale of the night wolf: stallion of the cimmron
I was born in the town of Nome Alaska. I always wanted to know where I actually came from but I have always been told that I was from Texas America but I always knew it was not true. When I became old enough to walk I would always try to escape so I could find my real homeland. But until I was 18 years old I wasn't allowed to find out where I really came from.
I started my journey to find my real home at the side of the Grand Canyon with my friend spirit. Me and spirit slept by day and walked by night. The night air was cooler than it was during the day. As we approached the boarder of Texas on our journey north we were given 2 stallions. These two stallions were not the only surprise we got. As our journey continued we met the rest of the herd that belonged to the two stallions we were given.
The herd looked after us very well in return we gave them protection from the army that was trying to catch them. On our journey we got separated by the army. My friend spirit went to the nearest settlement of the Lakota people. I found myself looking at a rail road that was headed for the north where my home was. I had to stop them from going any further than they were.
I also wanted to help the horses so I set my horse to work distracting the rail road workers that was helping the steamer over the mountain. While they were busy I released the chains that held the horses to the steamer. As I released them I'd got on my horse and I had found myself running away from the steamer that was now rolling down the side of the hill.
As I got to the bottom there was another steamer in the way. When the steamer that was rolling down the hill hit the steamer on the tracks a fire erupted setting the nearby forest on fire. The only way to get away from it was to jump over the edge and into the river below where my friend spirit and his new found friends along with the horses I released found me. Severely burnt I could not continue the journey. I wouldn't have survived if it wasn't for my friends that found me.
When I had healed enough I carried on the journey with all our new found friends on the way to our home in Alaska. But before we left Texas we still had to deal with the colonel. The colonel was not easy to beat his soldiers were but he wasn't. But I found the easiest way of beating him was to go to the top of a ledge in the Grand Canyon and whilst making my horse gallop as fast as it could I went for the edge and made my horse jump to fly over the colonel and land safely on the other side.
This was the point when the colonel gave up and he just nodded at me to say well done you have beat me I will no longer chase you. This was when I knew I was free to carry on the journey with all my friends the Lakota, the horses I freed and my friend spirit. So we continued our journey north across 16 states following 6 different rivers and the coast line to reach the most northerly point of America where In the winter you can walk from America to Russia across something like 4 KM of ice where the sea freezes. This place is a town known as Nome my birth place in a country called Alaska.
