The Guardian had crossed the Reef, or Asteroid belt. She had gone where few Guardians, even Dead Orbit, had even attempted to venture.

She was on a search for the Nine, to prove that they were real, living beings. Not Warminds, or gestalt consciences, but organic beings, who sent their agent, Zur to the tower every weekend.

She could feel the Darkness' strength growing stronger each second passing. It felt like an all consuming pressure against her, and with her light, she felt like a dying sun. A super nova.

She could see nothing around Jupiter. No precollapse/Golden Age facilities buried in the moons, so she ventured onward. It was almost terrifying being out there in the Dark, with nothing but you Ghost to talk to. She had just reached Saturn, when she saw something almost invisible in space from her location. It... Looked like a Ketch? This didn't look to good. If it was another Fallen house on a Warpath against the city, it could be over. She moved closer to it, waiting to activate evasive maneuvers as soon as any trouble started. Instead what she saw was that the Ketch was inactive. Dead.

"Ghost, get me a transmat to that ship, let's check it out." Said the Warlock. The Ghost bobbed in the air before disappearing. She was soon and n the Ketch. The ship had the same layout as the Winter's Kell's ship. There was nothing in there but Falen caches and ether sups. It was almost as if every Fallen inside had just dropped their items and ran. This Ketch didn't feel right. But, if her memory was right, she would be almost to the Kell's throne room. She had just crossed a large rooms threshold before being engaged buy three fallen vandals, wearing advanced armor. She forced ones out of the way and into a wall before kicking the other to the ground. The third and final Vandal suddenly spoke... Golden Age English!

"Do not hurt! Do not hurt! Yes?" Screeched the Vandal, backing away from her.

The Guardian paused, and asked "Why should I not?"

"I will take you to Kell! He is peaceful Kell. Different, yes?" Said the Vandal in panic.

"I don't trust you, but I will follow." The Guardian said, lowering her gun. The Vandal, with its solid blue eyes looked at her with what looked to be relief.

"Follow me, Guardian." Said the Vandal in a much calmer voice. The two walked down the empty hallway to the Kell's throne room. This room seemed much more magnificent than the Winters throne room. She could see Fallen moving in a hustle to different monitors to check up something that she could not see. She soon forgot as she saw a large Kell sitting on the throne. This one rose up and spoke two sentences to her.

"This one is the Nine, and it wants to trade... Information, yes?"
