Darling I'll Be Your Werewolf

All characters belong to JK Rowling; I have just borrowed them to indulge in a little fun. :D I do not make money from posting this and I do not intend to get sued or eaten by Death Eaters. Title is from the song Darling I'll Be Your Werewolf by the Australian band Short Stack.

Hermione smiled, looking up at Remus as the couples danced around them. "I can't believe this." She whispered, wrapping her arms around his neck once more, the satin of her dress making a swish noise as he twirled her before bringing her back in to his arms.

"I can…" He whispered, smiling down at the little book worm, his book worm. The words made his heart swell in joy, she was his, and he was hers. Three years after Voldemort had been destroyed, three years since Tonks had been killed, three years of raising Teddy alone, with the help of the brightest witch in the world.

He looked around the hall, smiling when he saw his baby boy sitting with Uncle Harry and eating a piece of the cake. "He is going to have the biggest sugar rush…" Hermione mused, following his gaze and smiling at her adopted son.

"He deserves it; he's been so good today." Remus mumbled, placing light kisses on her temple, her ear and her hair.

"OI!" George yelled out, laughing hysterically. "Chill it till tonight!" He added, smirking when Hermione and Remus both went bright red.

"What would we ever do without him?" Remus asked, spinning Hermione once more and grinning down at her. "I mean, the world… It would be so dark and boring…"

"Just like it was without the marauders." Hermione mumbled, grinning up at the man that had claimed her logical thinking and heart.

"Well, the world doesn't have to worry anymore…" Remus stated, smiling at Ginny who was rubbing her heavily pregnant belly and then looking back at Teddy, who had decided that pink hair would be the best way to get attention. "They are slowly coming back…" He added, looking back down at the beautiful woman in his arms.

"And I'm sure with our new little one; the marauders will have a girl for the first time." Hermione stated, placing Remus's hand on her growing stomach. "And if not, I always liked the name Vladimir."

"Of course you would call your son after a historical figure that struck fear in peoples hearts." Remus laughed softly when Hermione gently hit him in the arm. "I quite like Alucard." He smirked when Hermione raised her eyebrow up at him. "It is Dracula backwards." He giggled when she rolled her eyes and snuggled her closer to his body, pressing his lips to her temple once more.

"I hate you sometimes." Hermione said, but her words were betrayed by the love in her voice.

"Yes, and I ate three flubberworms once…" Remus mumbled, kissing her lips softly.

"But you did!" She insisted grinning happily and kissing him once more.

"I love you." She whispered, wrapping her arms around him.

"I love you too, Mrs Lupin." Remus grinned at his bride.

"Mr Lupin." She grinned and snuggled him once the music had stopped.

"Darling I'll be your werewolf." He whispered, affectionately.
