"So, Zabini," Scorpius Malfoy said in a drawl to his Slytherin classmate. "Who are you going to be asking to the Yule Ball?"

The two boys were leaning casually against a wall by the entrance to the dungeons. They were both in their seventh year at Hogwarts, and often nicknamed the "Princes of Slytherin" because of their popularity in the Slytherin house. Both Zabini and Malfoy were very handsome, with Malfoy's light blonde hair contrasting dramatically with Zabini's dramatic darkness.

"I don't know," Zabini answered Malfoy in a similar voice. "Perhaps Annabelle Parker."

"Ah," Malfoy said, sounding less drawl-y, and more relieved.

"Or, that Weasley girl," Zabini suddenly said.

"Which one?" Scorpius asked, his heart almost stopping.

"What's her name? Rose? Yeah, that one. She's bloody fit," Zabini said. He didn't realize that Malfoy's face was boiling up with anger. "What about you, Malfoy? Who will you be asking?"

Malfoy didn't answer at first. He was steaming.

"Malfoy?" Zabini asked again.

"Rose Weasley," Scorpius answered, with a sudden and unexpected boost of confidence.

"What the Hell, Malfoy," Zabini said, furiously. "You could have any bird in the entire school, yet you must chose the one that I want!"

Malfoy clenched his fists, and angrily fumed, "You little bastard! You know that I've been planning on asking her out since last year!"

"Yeah? Well then why didn't you? Why didn't the high a mighty Scorpius Malfoy ask her out?" Zabini taunted.

"You - you - " Malfoy started.

"Lost for words, are you Scorpy?" Zabini asked in a mocking tone.

Malfoy took a deep breath, trying not to lose his temper over someone like Zabini.

"Oh, so you aren't talking? Well, I guess I'll be asking Ms. Weasley write now," Zabini said, slyly, as he began to walk away. Suddenly, Scorpius grabbed his neck, and started chocking him. Zabini gasped for air, but before long he had managed to throw a punch at Malfoy. Malfoy winced and let go of Zabini's neck, but in the process kicked Zabini into a nearby wall. Zabini fell to the ground, and stayed there for some time. As he began getting up though, he grabbed Malfoy's leg, pulling Scorpius down. Zabini continued holding Malfoy down, punching him. Malfoy quickly gathered his wits, and started kicking, and trying to wiggle his way out from underneath Zabini.

"So that's how it is, Malfoy," Zabini wheezed.

"You bet that's how it is," Malfoy said as he caught his breath. The two men suddenly came at each other, throwing punches as they tackled their opponent. But their second round was quickly interrupted.

"Malfoy, Zabini," the pert voice of Rose Weasley said. "Fighting. Muggle style. That's, let's see, twenty points deducted for each of you. And then two nights of detention." Despite having both just received punishments, both boys sighed. "Well?" Rose Weasley suddenly said. "Come on then, to the hospital wing." They both sighed again.

The end!
