"Father I can't take it any more! Hiding among muggle filth like some common criminal! I can't take it! I won't! I've had to continue my magical education in secret hiding in the woods teaching myself!" Phoenix's crimson hair flurried around her shoulders and her emerald eyes glowed dangerously, as she paced and spoke with her father. "The Hogwarts express leaves in two days. I will be on it even if I have to fly my broom to Kings Cross." She started messing with the ring that was on a chain around her neck.

"Then you better start flying, because unless you give me a good reason as to why, I will not risk my being put into Azkaban for your going to school." Her father stated.

She sighed and looked at the ring, it was white gold with a name inscribe in calligraphy on it. It was her most prized position.

She stared at the ring and said quietly, "I haven't seen my betrothed in over five years." She looked up at her father with pleading eyes.

"So?" he didn't care. He didn't understand how could he understand? She stormed up to her room and started throwing her things into her trunk.
