A/N: After "The First Time". It's short and fluffy and nothing special really. I did this a long time ago, but I'm leaving it here for reasons.

Hot. Much, much too hot.

Oh, damn it!

The thought that popped into his head had Kurt's fingers trembling so quickly, he almost dropped his glass of lemonade.

He had only been thinking about the weather and naturally, like every other thought that passed through his head that day, it reminded him of Blaine.

The night before had been, hands down, the best of Kurt's life. He could remember every second of it, the passion, the warmth, fingers tangled and lips brushing, bodies slowly melting into one...

Weather! Right, the weather.

Kurt tried to focus on the topic at hand. It was the hottest day of the week – and a Saturday at that. So why, in God's name, could he not come up with something sweet and innocent to do with his significant other? Every thought somehow ended up being about that night.

"Is it always this hard?" he mumbled to himself as he began sipping his drink.

He wasn't a virgin any more. He had just had his first time with the most incredible person to ever walk the earth, that didn't mean things had to change.

And last night had been amazing, too! It was just that Kurt didn't really know how to look at Blaine any more. He didn't want to send any vibes or come off as needy or embarrassed, but most of all, he wanted Blaine to know just how wonderful every second had felt.

Butterflies.

He needed to call Blaine. Like, now. Imagining his crooked smile, the endless beauty of those mossy dark-green eyes... Butterflies, butterflies, butterflies.

Kurt's mind flew as he dialed Blaine's number. Breadsticks? Too romantic. Bowling? Too indoor. The park? Maybe, with something refreshing to eat or drink...

"Ice cream!"

"Um... hello?"

"Oh! Hi Blaine."

"Hey! What's up?"

"I was wondering... it's such a beautiful day... maybe we can do something n-nice together? Eat ice cream, go to a park? Or is that too childish? Because we can totally go... bowling."

"Kurt?"

"Yeah?"

"You sound nervous."

Kurt bit his lip and face-palmed. It felt like their first date, all over again.

Oh, just tell him!

"Listen, Blaine, I just wanted you to know that just because we had... sexual relations... it doesn't have to be awkward between us. All I want is for our relationship to stay as wonderful as it has always been and sex is a very normal thing, I mean-"

"Kurt."

"Yeah?"

"You're the cutest."

Butterflies. Kurt wanted to answer but his mouth was caught in a huge smile.

"Thanks, Blaine."

"For what?"

"For not making this awkward."

"Kurt, nothing about this is awkward. If anything, last night made me love you even more. And I hate bowling."

"So...?"

"So, I'll see you in ten minutes at the park. Bring ice cream."

Beep.

Butterflies.
