"Morgan has to come too?" he asked, because despite himself he really liked spending time with Mindy, alone.
"I have never been to Staten Island and I intend on returning alive" she responded.
Before he had time to take offense to that(like if he would ever let anything happen to her) he noticed her unbuttoning the last button on her shirt.
He could see her black bra underneath and he was trying his hardest not to stare.
It was a mix of this fact and the fact that Morgan was standing behind them that caused Danny to blurt out
"Whoa, Could you not change in front of me"
He saw a flash of his emotion in her eyes but didn't have time to register what it meant before she gave her snappy reply.
"Great Castellano, that's just great." He thought to himself sarcastically and hit his head against her wall "You sure know how to charm 'em"
"Wow, am I so horrific that he's terrified of seeing me change?" Mindy asked herself in her normal dramatic form. "Well could you not look at me while I change" was the best retort she could come up with. How did he do this to her? How did he make up forget all of her witty-comebacks, she was normally so quick on her feet. Stupid Danny!
That was actually the real reason Morgan was coming along. She actually didn't mind Danny's company; she liked how he would sometimes open up when they were alone. He was always a little sweeter and less jerk-y. Is that a real word? Jerk full?
Anyways that's not the point, the point is whenever they were alone together she got a weird feeling in her gut and always ended up saying something stupid or embarrassing. then they would argue and he would go back to his old, cranky, Danny self.

Morgan got seasick so the ferry ride turned out better than expected. He and Mindy just stood outside by the railing and talked, it was nice. He enjoyed having all of Mindy's attention to himself. When they were at the office there were more distractions like phone calls, or patients, or Reed. Urgh, Dr. Jeremy Reed, that self-absorbed Englishman with his fancy accent and his "class". He thought he was so smart and suave but really he was a moron. Jeremy had been with Mindy (something Danny really didn't like to think about) but he had just let her go. He was an idiot, but Mindy didn't seem to think so. He hated the way she looked at Reed.
Like the other morning when they had been doing the pull up contest, not hoisties because that's a stupid girly name, and Danny had done a perfect 38. Mindy had seemed less than impressed, but then Jeremy comes out and does 39. Which wasn't a real count since he had terrible form, but everyone had clapped nonetheless.
Whatever, Mindy needed a real man, not a metrosexual cheese ball like Jeremy.
A real man like Danny!
