Originally, I was going to make this a One-Shot but I've decided to make it 2 chapters or maybe more if I get reviews! Next chapter is quite interesting, I shall post it if I get a review or two! So please please review!

Draco Malfoy swiftly walked through the dark, deserted corridors of the castle, and struggled to maintain his cool composure. His heart was beating at a rapid pace and his pale hands had gone oddly cold and clammy. His eyes darted around the corridor frantically searching for a place to hide himself and be completely alone. Draco's mind swam with panic and anxiety; emotions that he rarely experienced, (afterall he was a Malfoy) and these emotions made him utterly terrified.

Draco's mind flashed back to previously that evening where he had been sitting in the dimly lit office of his Househead Severus Snape. "Draco, I insist you let me know what exactly your … plans are to carry out this task." Snape hissed in a low voice as he bent down to see eye to eye to Draco, thus letting his greasy black curtain of hair cover the sides of his face, making his now scary appearance match his menacing tone of voice.

"I don't need your help, Sir", Draco had sneered back at him, his lip curling up in disdain as he did so. "I'm perfectly capable of completing this task on my own! The Dark Lord thought me worthy of completing the mission for him and I plan to carry it out alone."

Snape stood up straight and looked down at his favourite pupil with what seemed like an expression of pity on his pale face. He hadn't expected Draco to exceed successfully so far with his plan, and he was now worried that the boy's life was in grave danger. Snape closed his eyes for a brief moment before opening them slowly and staring fixedly at Draco who was now sitting with his pale slender fingers pressed together with an expression of utmost boredom on his face. Snape then spoke in a low, calming voice which he hoped would help the boy's panic after he told him the truth,"I am only going to say this once Draco so I suggest you listen carefully. The Dark Lord does not expect you to succeed in this task, he finds it rather humorous that you are going to such extents to fulfill this mission. He wants you dead , as … revenge let's call it, for Lucious' mistake."

There was an eerie silence in the Potion Master's office as the words sunk into Draco's mind, and he felt like he was slowly slipping away from the world, like he was an outsider to his own body, yet he could feel the rapid increase of his heartbeat and his throat constricting making it difficult for him to breathe. Then, Draco Malfoy was running for escape.

With a gasp, Draco brought himself back to reality. The words of Severus Snape were still echoing in his mind, "He wants you dead …". Draco quickly pressed his hands up against his ears in a desperate attempt to shut out the echoing of the words that had caused him to panic, then realizing how childish his action was, he slowly let his hands drop down to his sides.

Draco ran a hand through his silvery blond hair and slowed down his pace as he still searched for a room to be alone in. His eyes fell upon a huge, dusty wooden door that looked as if it wasn't used frequently, he frowned slightly at how odd the door looked but continued towards it anyways. He pushed the door with both hands and heard the hinges creak slightly as the door opened way for his entry. And as Draco entered the room, his eyebrows raised upwards in surprise.
