"Do you want to have a ride on the air glider Toph?" Toph jumped a bit, the question was so random. Well, at least for her. Teo and his father had just designed a new kind of air glider similar to the old design, but easier to use. Everyone was testing it out, and so far their were no qualms about it.

She answered almost immediately, "Of course not. I'll crash."

"Oh yeah…" Teo's face fell for a moment, then he grinned again, "Hey! Do you want to ride with me on mine?"

"No… I'm not a big fan of flying… There's no Earth."

"Oh come on, you'll like it! It's not the same as Appa."

She sighed, "Fine, whatever."

"Yes!!"

Reluctantly Toph walked over to Teo. At that moment she realized what she'd have to do to ride with him. "On second thought…" she said, "Maybe it's not such a good idea."

"No, it's fine. You'll be safe, I promise."

"Okay," she muttered, slowly sitting down in his lap, face red. Leaning against his chest, Toph felt Teo's heart thumping wildly, So he finally gets it she thought, a bit angry at herself as she felt her face growing red.

"You ready?" Teo asked, Toph only nodded slightly and found herself wrapping her arms around him.

She felt the wheels of the wheelchair spinning and turning as Teo made the wheelchair go as fast as he could towards the edge of the cliff.

Cringing, Toph felt the wheels go over the edge and the wind catching the glider. A small yelp parted from her lips, only causing Teo to chuckle a bit.

One of Teo's arms slipped around Toph as he flew the glider upside down. At that point Toph was comfortable in the air, with the wind fingering her hair and clothes, giving her a sense of freedom. They did a loop, causing Toph to gasp for a moment then laugh.

They stayed up in the air for a couple hours, neither one of them noticing how much time went by and loving every minute of it. When Teo finally noticed that the sun was going down, he landed.

Toph stood up, looking a bit dazed.

"Tomorrow?" Teo asked, a bit uncertain.

"Sure! I loved it up there, with you…" Realizing what she had said, Toph quickly walked away, feeling Teo's heart pounding behind her.
