He walked forward, his purpose clear in his mind. His head throbbed, but he didn't care. His muscles ached, but it was irrelevant. Yugo, his best friend, his 'brother', was dead. By his own hand. Tears stung at his eyes as he continued forward, and he angrily slapped them away. He could not afford to be weak! Not now. His time for mourning would come. He would have plenty of time to mourn in death. He could not live with the guilt that constantly gnawed at his soul. After he killed Busuzima, he would die in the flames of the lab. He would destroy it all, Busuzima, the laboratory, and the ZLF's leader, 'Alpha'. As he continued walking, he tried to remember what he had done as Bakuryu. His memories of that time were foggy at best. Faces were impossible to decipher; conversations were vivid and misplaced. How many had he killed?! He stared at his hands in disgust. They were clean. His expression changed to one of anger. Clean, how foolish. His hands were anything but 'clean'. They were stained with the blood of the innocents. He clenched his fists violently, as though he could squeeze the impurity from them. He abhorred himself. He could not stand the sight of himself.
He could see the laboratory in the far distance, closing distance quickly as he walked. A cold wind blew swiftly by his face. He squinted his eyes slightly as the wind blew by, his red scarf flowing gently behind him. His eyes shined with anticipation, not only for the upcoming battle for revenge, but for his own death. Anticipation of no more 'Bakuryu' to torment the innocent...
Yugo...watch over me...in my final battle.
Kenji Ohgami seemed to disappear into the shadows, forward to confront his destiny.
Author's notes: Okay, so it's really short. I didn't want to drag it out just for length. This is how I think Kenji's thoughts would run while he was going to confront Busuzima after he thought he killed Yugo. Well, what do you think? Should I write more Bloody Roar stuff or not? Let me know! Thanks for reading!
