I knew I was going to miss her. Annabeth and I have been dating for almost three years. Being at camp without her all summer was going to be difficult. But I would live. Especially with all my friends; Grover, the Stoll brothers, Nico… I was also hoping that Thalia would visit at some point.

I was on my way to the Athena cabin to say goodbye to Annabeth. When I arrived, I knocked on the door. Instead of Annabeth, one of her half-brothers, Malcolm, answered. As soon as he saw me, he grinned.

"Annabeth, your boyfriend," he yelled.

As Annabeth came to the door, I could feel my face turning red, "Hey. I came to say goodbye to my favorite girl."

She blushed and her beautiful grey eyes sparkled, "I'm going to miss you Seaweed Brain," she leaned in and kissed me. Reluctantly, I kissed back, "Don't get into too much trouble while I'm gone," She winked at me.

I turned and watched her leave. Well, that was it. I wouldn't see her for three months. As I was walking back to the Poseidon cabin, I heard something that surprised me. I heard sobbing coming from…Nico's cabin? Why the Hades would Nico be crying?

I walked up to the door and knocked very loud, and heard a faint voice, "Go away!"

Rather than obeying the moody son of Hades, I walked in. Man, the place looked horrible. But then again, so did Nico. I had a feeling what I was about to ask would be a mistake.

I asked anyways, "Nico…what's wrong?"

"You wouldn't understand Percy…" Nico replied with a groan.

I rolled my eyes, "Nico, calm the fuck down. You know, it's nice to let your feelings out once in a while. Now what's wrong? Are you having girl problems?"

"Well-"

"I knew it. Who is it? Thalia? Is it someone I-" He cut me off, which I much deserved.

"Percy! It's not a girl. I like guys."

I never knew that about Nico… "Well which guy is it then?" I asked persistently.

He looked down and hid his face, "As I said before, you wouldn't understand."

"Try me."

"It's you," he mumbled.

What did he just say? As strange as it may seem, I hoped that I heard him right, "What was that?"

"You! Percy Jackson, I'm in love with you!" he yelled.

There was a long pause and I could just taste the awkward. That brought another thought into my mind. I wonder what Nico tasted like… NO! What the fuck am I thinking? Hmm… "I-I had no idea, Nico."

"Yeah, well now you know what was wrong, so you're welcome to leave," Nico said, with sadness in his voice.

"Good idea…and look, I hope this won't get in the way of our friendship. See ya 'round," I said, exiting the Hades cabin.

What the Hades just happened in there? Oh right. Nico confessed his love for me. I think I…no it couldn't be. I have a girlfriend. A beautiful daughter of Athena. I couldn't possibly be in love with Nico di Angelo…could I? Maybe a good nap would clear things up.

As I dozed off, I saw her. Annabeth. She was smiling that beautiful smile that I had fallen in love with. Then, she disappeared. Where she once stood, Nico was now standing. I could see the sadness in his eyes. And it was all because of me. The reason I cared so much. The reason I was seeing him right now. I was in love with Nico di Angelo.

Immediately, I jumped out of bed, and ran out of the cabin. I ran as fast as I could. When I reached the Hades cabin, I didn't even knock. I opened the door and walked in.

"What do you want?" Nico looked up at me with fury in his pitch black eyes. I never realized this before…but they were beautiful.

I just smiled, "You. That's all I want. I want you, forever."

I walked over and sat down next to him on the bed. He smiled for the first time in who knows how long. I wrapped my arms around his neck and closed the space between us. As our lips touched, I felt happy. Happier than I'd felt in a long time. I'd found my love. And that's all I need to be happy.
