….

He could only smile, seeing her enthusiastic expression, when she tasted chocolate for the first time. After she finished eating her half, she demanded:

-More.

And he gave her his half willingly, without any protesting. Seeing her smile was enough for him. She enjoyed the delicious dessert, and even managed to get some on her cheeks and nose.

-Niche likes cho'late. It's tasty.

From this moment on, it was confirmed what he had always known. Niche was adorable in her tsundere, childish way. She smiled and blushed, after which she tried to lick off the chocolate left on her nose as a consequence of her careless, delirium-driven eating. Before he knew it, his fingers were on her cheek, wiping the sugary stain off. He then tasted the chocolate. He had eaten enough kinds of the tasty cocoa product, but this one tasted special. It tasted like her blush. Sweet, but it lasted as much as a blink in a century. Then he did something even he did not expect. Putting his hands around her shoulders, he pressed his lips against hers, closing his eyes, enjoying the taste of the chocolate on her lips, enjoying her. He felt her surprise; she didn't see this coming, that was for sure. But she put her clawed arms on his back, and slowly kissed him back. He felt her letting

go of Lag, and he let go of Anne. For the time being, Niche was his, and he was hers. However, Zazie had known better. This was only for a moment, she isn't his. He broke off the kiss, and lowered his head, smiling sadly.

-M'afraid you taste better.

Trying to get up, and clean up the mess, they made, in terms of the chocolate coating on the walls, and the newly found feelings, he felt he was growing annoyed. He did not need to fall in love with Lag's dingo.

-Za-Zazie?

The moment he looked back at her, when he saw the unsaid question waiting for an answer in her azure eyes, was the moment he realized. He resisted no more. Zazie had loved Niche, since the day he saw her fight off the gaichuu. He didn't care what will happen, he didn't care about Lag, he didn't care about anything. She belonged to him, for as much as he wanted her. And she knew that, and agreed silently. Stepping on her toes to reach his lips, she pulled his shirt, making him lean in. Kissing him again, she knew. It wasn't the chocolate, which tasted so good. Zazie had been right. On the on other hand, hadn't he been always?
