Just the way you are-Bruno Marz
Set after the war Fred surrvived. Ron broke up with Hermione who doesn't think she looks nice. Fred however try's to convince her otherwise.
"morning Hermione" smiled Fred. Hermione was still at the burrow her and ron were still friends everyone was out already leaving Fred alone with Hermione.
"morning" she muttered
"you look beuatiful today" he took in her wavy hair that sat perfectly round her heart shapped face. She laughed but shut herself up quickly she hated her laugh. Fred disagreed.
"Hermione did you think about my question? will you go out with me?" he asked.
"I don't know why you want me to i'm ugly, i have a horrible laugh, my smile's ugly and I never look nice why would you want to go with me. I'm just a stupid girl who's too clever for her ownn good. Why would you want to go with me?" she asked.
"I don't know what Rons told you but come with me" he said taking her hand and leading her up to ginny's room where there was a full lenght mirror. He had to make her see what he saw.
"you're beautiful hermione. Your hair, smile,-"
"don't make me laugh" she said. Turning away from the mirror.
"look hermione really look" he said gently to her and spun her around back to face the mirror.
"there's nothing I would change about you. You're amazing and when I see you smile or hear you laugh my whole world lights up. You're amaing just the way you are." he said.
For the first time, in a long time hermione really looked at herself. She saw he once bushy hair was gone and replaced by wavy brown hair down to her shoulders. Her face was thinner not round almost heart shapped and the hair sat aroung her face perfectly. Her once skinny frame had also gone. Replaced by the body of a women. Fred was right she was beautiful.
"yes" she breathed. "I will. Tongiht at seven meet me downstairs" she smiled. He had made her see how beautiful she really way. He really loved her just the way she was he wouldn't make her change for anything.
That night everyone else was upstairs the only people in the kitchen were fred and george. They were waiting on the arrivial of Hermione.
"hey" she whispered as she reached the last step. She looked baetiful her hair fell down her back in loose ringlets and her dress was electric blue with ruffles down the front. She had blue strappy heels on. Her nails painted metallic blue. She was perfect.
"do I look okay?" she asked. Geroge smiled and slipped out of the room unnoticed. Fred walked over to her and kissed her.
"you look amazing" he said after she had pulled away. "just the way you are"
Okay this came to me when I was listening to the charts and I tought why not have a go at a song fic. Not sure if it's any good but please review. I might do more songs about this couple so any suggestions are welcome.
