Hello readers! I am deleting Don't Intervene With Something Like This! because I don't really know what to do with it. If someone else wants to keep writing it, I won't stop you! Here is a one shot courtesy of me! Dedicated to- Bella-Wish and my BFF Libby who doesn't have a fanfiction account yet. Bella-wish has awesome stories! Bella-wish is another one of my BFFs mind you. Lily was tired. Not only had she finished all her homework, but she had to stay up listening to the Marauders talk about the next Quidditch game because they apparently needed an audience. She thought she had padded back upstairs, but when she woke up she found herself laying on James Potter's lap. She did what most girls would do-screamed.

"JAMES IAN POTTER! WHY ON EARTH AM I LAYING IN YOUR FILTHY LAP?!"

"Not now Mum, one more minute." James muttered.

"I AM NOT YOUR MUM, JAMES IAN! GET UP YOU BIG PRAT!"

All of a sudden, James shot his eyes open and yelped.

"What are you yelling at me for?"

"How come I found myself laying in your-your sickening lap this morning?" Lily brought her voice down to a icy whisper and James shuddered. Then he shrugged.

"Dunno. I fell asleep on the couch last night. Maybe you cuddled up to me..." James wiggled his eyebrows. Lily wrinkled her nose.

"No way! Why on earth would I cuddle up to a git like you?"

"You tell me!" James got up. Just then, Sirius came from the boy's dorm.

"Ahh! The lovebirds are up!"

"SIRIUS ORION BLACK! What did you do?!" Lily screamed.

"Pardon me? You guys fell asleep like that. Well, first Prongs did. Then you fell asleep and your head kind of rolled to the side and then you fell down on James' lap. He muttered something about 'Stuffy' and 'don't attack me!'. It was quite amusing."

"You WATCHED?" Lily squeaked at the same time James said, "What happened to Stuffy?!"

"Yes, we watched. Who is Stuffy?" Sirius asked.

"My teddy bear!" James said defiantly. Sirius stifled a laugh. Lily smacked her forehead.

"Why didn't you wake me?!"

"It was cute!" Sirius smiled. Lily grunted.

"Fine. Whatever."

"Just admit you like me!" James put his hands on Lily's shoulders. She surprisingly didn't move.

"Uhh.."

"You DO like me!" James smiled mischievously. Lily turned red.

"Maybe. Just a little.." Lily got more and more red. James grabbed her and kissed her. Sirius wooted and the half filled common room clapped.

And then Lily woke up and found herself in James' lap. She smiled and kissed him lightly on the lips. He smiled in his sleep. This won't be a bad day.
